How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Car park is definitely way too expensive.
Great value for money. Clean and modern rooms. Also rooms are quiet despite hotel being close to quite busy street.

Window could have been opened only partially (maybe for safety reasons, 5th floor). We missed the view: there was a partial frosted glass window. Loud neighbours: big family accommodated in several rooms making noise and mess in the corridor area day and night.:-(
Room: clean and very nice. Bathroom: well-equipped. :-)

Many dogs owner leave their pets alone in the room barking behind the doors of the room. it can be annoying, especially late at night or early in the morning.

The hotel was so far from the city center and there wasn't any restaurant and supermarket around, although the hotel had a very good access to the public transport
The room was so clean and well-decorated, the bed was comfortable, there was also electric kettle in the room, so you could drink coffee/Tea whenever you wanted

The bathroom light was probably broken because it should have turned on and off using a proximity sensor but it sometimes turned on on it's own or wouldn't turn back off even after minutes let empty. We had to take out the key to completely turn off all lights to sleep, luckily the power outlet worked even without it.
Service and cleanliness were amazing offering every day both new bathrooms supplyes like clean towels and dental or shaving kits and packages of tea and instant coffee (and a really good one too) to enjoy even for whom doesn't have breakfast at the hotel thanks to the electric boiler.

The hospitality of the people in the check in

They can tell us there is no 50m2 room but two 25m2 room you get. With to hotel serive get no answer ask the personale they tell me to write online.

Very comfortable, nice views. Littel far to the metro station but it's easy to catch a renting bike or scooter to join fast the metro station.

The curtains don't block enough light. During summer time, when the sun rises at 5 am, this provides too much light in the room.
Located a bit off the city center, but near numerous public transport opportunities. Very good breakfast. Good Wi-Fi. Spacious clean room/bathroom. Minibar. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning.

Spots in the parking garage were very small, which is typical for Europe.
Very clean and comfortable. three elevators, so even they were small you didn’t have to wait very often.

I think parking was a little overpriced for that sort of facility. At the reception I asked if I could park in front of the hotel overnight but was told no. Then I noticed a couple of cars who parked there the afternoon I checked in, and in the morning they were still there. Weird feeling :D
The room was clean, the bed was huge. I liked the bath as well. Didn't try breakfast though.

Toilet not separated by full doors from the room. Just sliding doors without sound isolation.

I think in Czech the idea of vegetarian is different from the UK. The buffet retaurant had vegetables and salad, but not really a vegetarian main meal. When pointed out we the kitchen did cook us some vegetarian meal. Thank you
For us the hotel was in a great location. The rooms were clean and modern. The staff friendly and helpful.
