Staff. I have ordered a drink in a bar and they charged me without showing me a bill. After payment I asked them for a bill and they didn`t want to give it to me. I asked them to at least show it to me and they said no. I insisted and they showed me. I have realized they charged me a drink I never ordered. I never received a money back from them.

I was relocated to Occidental Praha Five from other Occidental hotel. Check in was long and hard, I think that nobody knew anything about our relocation. I reserved a sauna for exactly hour, 5 minutes before a received information that it is not ready and I must wait another hour.

Very nice breakfast, many dishes and drinks. Nice and clean rooms. Kindly staff.

They provided me room which was already occupied, very surprising for me and another person in the room! finally paid junior suite replaced to standard room. During my stay on reception somebody arrived shouting because cat in his room. Car parking is also complete mess.

1. TV didn't worked - we told it to the girl in reception, she promissed to call tehnician to fix the problem. Tehnician never come... 2. Air condition - tehnically it worked, but in reality it worked so bad, that in room was hotter than outside. We put min temperature for +18C, but you could feel some light breeze only under the conditioner. 3. Shower leaked on the floor of room... 4. Breakfast time - in reception the same girl we told about TV, told us and even wrote breakfast time 7.00-10.30. On Monday morning 10.15 we had a suprise - breakfast is till 10.00, so we had to leave without any food or drinks... 5. Beds - we asked for one double bed. In reality - there was 2 beds pushed together as one. They moved while sleeping - away from the wall and away from each other. Terrible!!!!!

my bed was missing a leg multiple times during the night it collapsed making me fall off the bed on to the ground injuring my shoulder the next morning I told the staff, they did not seem to be concerned about my well-being I repeated a few times and all I got told was thank you for letting us know

The sink in the first room was clogged and we were moved to another similar room. The rooms have a very interesting arrangement: the toilet and the shower are separated from the rest of the room only by a glass wall. It seems that the hotel has a general problem with ventilation, as from time to time it started to smell unpleasantly in the room from the vent.

In general the hotel is nice, the staff are really helpful and friendly. The beds are clean and comfortable. The location is good, it takes only 7-10 minutes to get to the city centre by car. Also there is a car park and a small garage onsite, but the reservation is not possible.

1. Be aware, that dogs have to be confirmed ahead, which turned to be a very unpleasant surprise (as it stated, that the hotel is pet friendly). It is written in the policy, that pets are allowed on request, but that wasn’t transparent and obvious for me during the booking. So check-in was stressful and my mood went below 0 (as at the begging the nice lady at reception) was not even sure that they can let us to check-in with our beautiful labrador, saying the she is huge! 2. We booked the hotel for 3 nights, and for every night we were charged additionally 35 EUR for a dog. That’s kind of expensive. 3. Parking was 14 EUR per night, so it is was 43 EUR in total. Saying that all, though initial price was 283 EUR, I had to pay 438, which turned it into quite overpriced stay, imho.

Only one thing- the double bed is actually 2beds side by side and if you sleep in the middle- you are falling in a hole and it is quite uncomfortable. May be they should think how to keep them sticked together. But the mattresses themself are comfortable.

The hotel is great- veeeery clean, smiled staff, nice furniture,good location- close to metro and shopping center.They provide in the room evrth.that you can need (even shaving set🙂) This are nice small things that make guests feel comfortable. I highly recomend the hotel definately!

Lack of drawers or shelves to unpack case. Bar lacks atmosphere and not cosy or comfortable seating. Couldn't work TV. Would have been good to be able to stream e.g. Netflix or connect phone or laptop to TV.

Really helpful staff. Rooms kept clean without intrusion. Beds really comfortable. Facilities all new and working fine. Breakfast from 7 to 11 am and kept replenished so it didn't matter if you were later. Amazing variety of breakfasts. Easy reach of public transport into Prague centre. Free WiFi
