How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I would appreciate to have access to sauna even before breakfast from 7 am.
Breakfast was copious, excellent choice for everybody. Comfort of rooms was perfect.

Amazing place to stay in Brno! Nice and clean rooms, perfect staff. You can park your car in the garage. And their American IPA beer in their bar is fantastic! Want to go back!

There was some kind of fish Canned or pickled products within quite small jar for breakfast, but this time disappeared, hope it comes again
the woman in the restaurant for lunch and dinner not breakfast, is not polite,even rude if you go for welcome drink without anything else consumption

Very nice hotel with a lot of amenities. The spa is very nice & restaurant was great with house brewed beer & friendly staff. Location is perfect & onsite parking is very convenient.

No massage facilities
Pleasant and good quality rooms. On site brewery a plus. Breakfast good with lots of choice. Really enjoyed our first visit to Brno. Will stay here again

In the first room we had a terrible sewage smell coming from the drain. They offered to upgrade but then took the offer back and just move to the next room. In the second room the water was dripping from the shower
The bed is very big, comfortable and with the nice bedsheets Balcony in the room is a nice touch Room service is excellent: tasty, fast and very customer-oriented

no instruction how to control the floor heating
Very new and clean rooms, very friendly staff, great breakfast and good beer from their own brewery. Plus a spacious and relaxing sauna and wellness area. We will come again.

Water in the bathroom ran hot or cold regardless of my settings by its own will, the mini bar was not restocked for 3 days.

I didn’t like the fact that restaurant and the bar was closed for dinner on 01.01.2025 So many of the hotel guests have to go out for dinner and drinks and it was quite cold outside.

New and comfortable hotel, comfy and spacious rooms. Nice and friendly staff. Wellness was perfect, especially the relax area and rooftop + snacks and drinks there. Great variety of breakfast, tasty. In the hotel restaurant we got a free welcome drink and afternoon snack bar and they have their own tasty beer. Walkable distance to the historic city centre, Tugendhat and the main station. Definitely recommended!

The built-in shower.
The Christmas markets were close, the nearest supermarket was at 300 m, open even on Sunday. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The wellness section was excellent. The room was equipped with a kitchen and electric kettle to make tea. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The facilities and staff were awesome. The desk staff were top notch, excellent English speaking - to advise us on the local spots to see. The only fault we experienced - was the cooler temp of the whirlpool. It was not enjoyable.
Breakfast was a 5 star! Amazing selection, cook to order - sparkling wine! What more could you ask for? We booked with the meal included and were very pleased.

It would be nice if the TV would work as a smart TV.
It's a very comfortable hotel. The rooms are modern and clean, the breakfast is of good variety and the underground parking is accessible (12€ per 24h). It's located within walking distance from the city center. We would definitely recommend it!

There was nothing we not like
The staff were super friendly and spoke excellent English. The spa was included (with robes and slippers) and was a great way to relax after the Christmas markets. The restaurant was casual but the food was as good as it gets. I had the best roast duck I have ever had. The location is less that a block away from three major tram lines. Large room with separate bath and showers. Really top notch and quite a bargain.

Only small things: no towels in the toilet. No offer to explain hotel facilities. No help with taxis.
The facilities, room amenities, room layout, breakfast are all excellent. The location is great too, close to the centre and the famous Brno villas. A lovely spa free to use for hotel guests. A welcome drink. Restaurant on site.

A few more vegetarian dishes could be added on the menu.
For breakfast, we had a wide selection of food. I liked the combination of ready-made dishes and those that could be ordered additionally. The kitchen is excellent if you're not a vegetarian, but the beers are great, and the selection is large. The staff is helpful and friendly. The location is great! The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Mendel University and around 20 minutes from the city center. Most of the attractions can be reached on foot, but there is also a tram stop nearby, and the city is well-connected by tram lines.
