How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

No common area, so guests gather in the kitchen late at night, can get noisy There could be some chairs in the room The shower is only a curtain, so you have to swipe the water from the floor everytime
Private bathroom, free lockers & towels Coffee & tea in the kitchen Central location on a not too noisy street, although a bit controversial Good drapes

Reception: not 24/7, and can only check in during few hours in the afternoon, not easy for traveler if consider drop off the luggage before or after check in. It happens to me that they are not picking up the phone during their working hour Staff: I think they are lack of staff to handle all checkin customer all at the same time and she is super busy, not friendly at all but only does her job. Front door of the building: it is a bit hard to open with the key as you need to make sure it fits on certain angle
Room: 6 ppl only, not too crowded and has locker. Cleaning lady came clean everyday. Could self check out without issue. Provide towel and hair dryer. Common area: it is relatively quiet and don't really hear the noise in the room.

Door of the luggage cannot be locked and there was noone to check who is coming in.
The hostel being upstairs of a sauna club shouldn't make you fear, there was nothing wrong and two locked doors between places

No lift and signage should be visible outside the property.

Not much to be honest it had everything I needed maybe the pillow it was very lumpy but that's nothing really. Good work
A clean, tidy and comfortable room bonuses point for supplying lockers that had locks instead of having to supply your own. The staff were very friendly and answered any questions. The location was very handy giving access to Old town and plenty of transport links.

Wish there was an ironing board but other than everything was good. Can be a bit dull but it is for adults after all.

The chairs in the kitchen is a little uncomfortable but it’s fine.
The bathroom has a bathtub, the bed was so comfortable, everything was so neat.

No one was there for the time of the check in and no one was answering the phone either, got checked in an hour later. probably a one time thing, but ruined my first impression of their organisation. Also the showers are leaking so bad everyone has to mop the whole bathroom after themselves
The place is clean, has the basics you would want from a hostel + free tea and coffee. the location is very convenient, right in the centre but it was not noisy at all.

Clean and comfortable beds, the staff was accommodating as to the check in time. Towels and locker were provided for free. Bathroom was inside the room. Too bad I stayed only one night and didn't get to enjoy it more.

Check-in hour is 13h so no luggage storage I guest. We had to wait until someone come and open the main gate for us.

A little bit noisy at night as it is outside a famous cabaret and no elevators. But nothing so bad.
Good value for money and at a prime location. I love that you are just a few minutes walk from a lot of spots and is very accessible to the train stops. Own balcony, t&b and the nice little kitchen outside the rooms is a plus!

The only thing i didn't like was the shower. There was no shower base/pan so i had to mop the floor so the water wouldn't spread everywhere. Besides that, everything was great!

Bathrooms weren’t so clean. Check-in reception only opens from 1 to 4 PM
Location was in the center of everything. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds are so comfy but abit squeaky. Good value of money!
