How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

It's a bit tricky to adjust the tap in the shower, but it wasn't a big problem for me in the end
The location is amazing, the tram stop is 50m from the hotel. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The room was comfortable and cleaned every day. The breakfast was delicious and everybody from the family could find something to eat.

Everything was good enough
Breakfast was good, a lot of different food. Anyone can find what they want to eat. It was warm enough in room.

I wished it was a bit closer to the city center.
i liked the little things they did like placing goodnight stories on your bed after they cleaned your room. the rooms were pretty spacious.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Marcella gave us excellent advice on where to go for shopping, eating, sightseeing & transport, she could not have been a better host. We enjoyed our complimentary drinks on arrival and hot wine and traditional Czech biscuits during our stay.

Location of the hotel is great, there is a metro station nearby but you can also easily walk to the Old town or Prague Castle. Bed is comfortable, everything is clean and wll kept but the highlight of our stay were the staff members who were all very polite and helpful.

The lounge area although beautiful furniture felt like a museum. Comfy sofas soft lighting would make it more welcoming. Wasn't aware of bar / restaurant in basement until very last night of stay. Don't think it was open but you could have a drink in reception area after being out and about and once again staff were lovely
Loved the suite. Exceptionally clean and fantastic value for money. Staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations about where to eat and how to get there. Would I stay here again yes 💯

Can't really think of anything negative. One small thing is the eggs and beans were abit cold on one of the mornings but to be honest that didn't really bother me. I'm guessing they had been out a while and I came at a bad time.
Friendly staff - receptionists, cleaning staff and the breakfast staff were all great! Clean rooms that are cleaned everyday Comfy bed Nice, simple rooms with plenty of storage and a safe Good breakfast - good selection of food and drinks Lockers to store luggage before or after check in/out The complimentary drink when you arrived Good location - not exactly central but that's a good thing as you are away from the busy crowds. Everything can be walked to or you can use the fantastic public transport. There is a tram stop just around the corner. I would absolutely stay here again!

I loved the terrass - we had our breakfast there in the middle of Octobre and really enjoyed the warmth of the sun. The room were nice and also the staff, very friendly and helpful.

The water pressure in the showers was poor and the water temperature was unstable. This is virtually our only complaint for the entire stay.
Everything was very comfortable and very well styled - it was a visual treat!
