The hotel is in principle wonderful, but a few flaws are making it 7/10 and not 9 or 10. There is no light next to bed, shower is slightly broken and my room was relatively cold

As it is an authentic castle it has plumbing issues, the water in the shower didn't drain properly which caused a flaud even outside of the shower. The reception is not staffed with english speakers, beside from Martin who arrives in the afternoon and is very nice. The toilet in our room were not cleaned properly when we arrived and the room was not cleaned at all during our stay (3 nights). There is no trash can in the room. The breakfast is modest and once products run out they're not getting refilled. The general feeling is that there's no one to talk to if you encounter a problem, as the few staff employees were busy in the kitchen or the restaurant and didn't speak english. There isn't wifi in the rooms, only in the play room.

The castle is beautiful, authentic and restored perfectly! The rooms are beautiful and spacious. You can actually imagine the life of nobles who lived there :) The pizza at the castle's pizzeria is tasty. We had fun at the castle playroom it had a bowling, vintage playmachines, pool table, air hockey, PS2, xbox and nice little corner feeled with games for toddlers. We had fun exploring the rooms of the castle.

Shower may be enhanced. Better floor to run wheel luggages, whithin parking lot through parking lot. More Power outlets in the rooms should be added.

Great Place to stay. But make sure to be inside the Castle. (Not pension)

The description mentioned staying in castle, however our room was in a completely separate building in the garden.

The walls are a bit thin, so children could be heard at 6.30 a.m. when they made some noise. The common kitchen wasn't available at the moment in which we had hoped to cook a meal.

The location, the old Chateau, the rooms, the communication with the landlord, the breakfast, the employees, ...

With just a bit extra this would be topnotch; the bedding is not cotton but another material and the towels are indeed not big and fluffy and a bit sparse (no extra towel for washing hands for example, just one not too big towel per person). But with regards to the really good price you pay and the really good service, it's totally acceptable and a very recommended place to stay.

Super nice location, very laid back, with a communal kitchen and the reception area with a selfservice fridge. Breakfast that we had the next morning was superb with lots of choice and things like cabbage and other vegetables as well. I loved it (service also really good). There is a pizza place in the castle run by a couple of Ukrainian women who were amazing, both in personality and in cooking. They also serve other foods, not just pizza; I had very tasty salmon with vegetables, my partner really nicely roasted chicken with fries. Eating outside on the terrace with view on the garden and very calm village. We and our dog loved the large garden around the castle. Lots of free parking.

The hotel offers beautiful accommodation in a castle surrounded by a park - the property is well maintained, furnished in a stylish style. Provides all that makes you feel special. I love the area and the interior. There is a bar with bowling, a restaurant with delicious traditional food. Staff is kind and friendly. And the breakfast is rich and tasty. I honestly recommend.

The place has a lot of potential, but unfortunately disappoints. The castle is historic and the rooms are spacious, however, lacking most modern amenities. The mattresses were old and sagging, the towels small and hard, no entertainment whatsoever. There is no TV in the rooms and no wifi signal. Front desk operates with limited hours and the restaurant was closed for the holidays. We did manage to eat dinner one time and the quality of the meals was disappointing. I would describe this as renting a room in someone else's place without any amenities- it is really not a fully functioning hotel.

Large rooms in a historic building. Original furniture.

This hot summer night was not so good. We slept there for one night and left early. Towels were grey, they might be clean, but they are so used that colour has faded long time ago. In the evening we were visited by a friendly roach. There was no shampoo in a bathroom as described only soap that is "for all skin types", yet skin got dry after using it. We couldn't find a remote for air cinditioner, after some time we somehow turned it on and felt warm air. Hot room turned into hell room. Paper thin walls allowed us to hear snoring all night... We didn't ask for a breakfast but leaving I saw that boiled eggs, watermelon, youghurt was served there, I think a little overpriced for 7 eur.

The place looks interesting, there you can see historic moments, paintings, vintage sculptures. Garden is green, tidy, picturesque view. Easy check-in and check-out, you can pay in cash, by card. Bathroom looked clean, colourful. Wifi is fine :)
