Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe hotel is on the sixth floor and the downstairs entrance to the building is a bit scruffy and a bit of a surprise; but don't let it put you off. It's also off the main street. The sign for the hotel is small and it's easy to walk past without seeing it so look for the gate.
Lovely room, very clean and modern. Liked the mirror!! I was road side and it was quiet still. Welcoming entrance. Great communcation from the reception team. The building has continuous lift if you are brave enough in the morning.

RomaniaThe hotel from the street is slightly hidden and a bit hard to spot, having a sign outside that in my opinion is a little bit small.
We have enjoyed our three day stay in Prague at the Planet Rooftop Hotel very much. The fact that the hotel was in the near proximity of the majority of things we’ve wanted to see was a big plus. The hotel is very nice, cozy, clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for the hospitality.

AustriaEven tough this is a nice place, it doesn't feel like much of a hotel, since there is no lobby or bar/common space (they only have a couple of rooms tough). The public terrace didn't have any sitting options and wasn't very inviting. Also, we could hear noises on the corridor very clearly in our room.
This is a cute place, super close to the main flix-bus station. Unconventional design, nice view, nice bathroom tiling. Close to the river and the old town. Also the staff were very friendly. My highlight was the paternoster elevator (not running on the weekends). We booked it on a discounted rate and this made it a good value for the price.

Great place to stay in Prague. New hotel, clean and spacious rooms equipped with all the amenities you might need. Plenty of parking places - in case there's no available directly in the hotel lot, there's a huge parking lot 1 minute away. Staff is very responsive and will always help you with any requests you might have - Eles, many thanks for making our stay an unforgettable experience!

The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The location was very ideal and parking was included for a fee. Breakfast was located across from the hotel at a local restaurant but was very delicious and there were lots of options. The staff were also very kind and helpful.

SloveniaAt the check in, it looked like our toilet was used and not cleaned after. There were no slippers. A receptionist told us Netflix is free of charge, but after one hour of watching it, it closed down and were unable to watch it again.
Great location, nicely redecorated room.

United KingdomIt was our first visit to Prague and we loved it. Travelling as a mum with 2 daughters we felt very safe during our whole trip even walking back to our hotel late at night. The Rooftop Prague Hotel was fabulous and we were well looked after by the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was great they could arrange our taxi transfers to and from the airport. Great help and a good price. I would definitely stay here again.

SlovakiaThe name "rooftop" suggested some nice view, but it was quite mediocre - one side to the Florenc observing the highway, the other side mostly with the view of adjacent buildings (and the Prague castle in the background :-) ). The hotel floor can be reached by elevator + using a staircase for 1 more floor (so not recommended for elderly people).
The staff were very nice and attentive. The receptionist made sure we could make it on time while the check-in desk was open (it closes after 18 o'clock). We were greeted with a personalized message and a small complimentary bottle of wine in the room. The hotel is located in an area well connected to the public transport lines (metro, trams) and you could walk to the parts of the city centre if you are in the mood for a stroll. Also, the main railway station is close, 15 minutes of walk or 1-stop travel with the metro line. Hotel rooms are situated on the upper floor of an old office building (see negatives section) BUT! this building has also the "Pater Noster" type of elevator (small cabins circling up and down) which is now very rare to see and you can use it during the daytime on working days which is quite a nice perk :)

GermanyThe shower was open so unfortunately the floor got wet while showering. All rooms of the hotel are on one floor and it’s not soundproof, so you hear a lot. We didn’t mind because we were just staying for 2 nights.
We really enjoyed the spacious room, very comfortable beds, hotel as a Netflix account! Breakfast was good, located in a different hotel just 100m from the hotel. Bathroom with window! Very friendly staff. Water and fruits for free and even a little bottle of wine as a welcome drink. We would recommend it!
