How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I love this hotel so much. Please leave it as it is and don't renovate all of it. The new 'delux' rooms are soulless and have no charm. The old rooms have a very special vibe from a time gone by...

Old looking room - however there is also renovated part of the building with new rooms I'm sure. Pricing is different of course.

Nothing of note.
Great breakfast and the room was very nice. Would use again. Wonderful location on old town square. Tram stop a short walk by cutting through shopping centre. Bedroom quiet.

Staff at the check-in-desk was rather unmotivated in the evening of my check-in.
Very centrally located hotel to stay. Rooms were a bit worn-down but still very comfy. Can't rate the breakfast because I didn't take it. The elevator is almost a unique piece of history. Would come again. Walking distance to the train station approx. 20 mins.

Great location close to the centre and with a view on the old city hall. The bathroom was massive and bathtub just great. Liked the art noveau design and antic furniture in our room.

The sink did not work properly and the water was not going through. The balcony view was to the inner garden, nothing too special. I did not notice too many people at the hotel, but still received a so so view. When we were leaving the reception lady was not there for quite long time. Also when I rang the bell to open parking noone reacted and I needed to go back to the hotel and wait 10 minutes before she came back. Also there are no proper steps if you need to go up or down with a stroller.
we reserved a deluxe room with a balcony. The room was quite modern and comfortable. The city center location of the hotel was convenient. The room was cozy and I bed was soft.

Breakfast was excellent Parking was convenient and stress free. Location perfect for main town square. Front desk gentleman very friendly and gave us a better room with a view of the Christmas market. So happy.

Room was absolutely basic. Old furniture, narrow single beds. Had to climb under the table to unplug a lamp to charge my phone. No hairdrier, no kettle, no fridge. Admittedly I booked the cheapest room, perhaps the more expensive rooms would be more comfortable.
Fantastic location in a really beautiful and classic building. Absolutely loved riding in the old lift! The cafe on the ground floor had excellent coffee. 24 hr reception. Staff very helpful, I asked for an extra pillow late at night and the receptionist found one for me.

A well-kept and nice art deco facility. Just a weird smell in the room (like it used to be smoking area earlier on and has not wear off yet…)

Deluxe room with a broken AC that didn't cool. That was why we booked this room... Two of the three bedside lamps did not work. Spiderwebs in the otherwise very nice bathroom, that also has a door that is hard to lock.
Location and price. Almost unbelievable views from the big balcony.

Rooms are OK, beds are comfy, breakfast was good. Staff was freindly. all in all, we are very satisfied. The only thing (we were there during summer) the rooms were a bit "airless" so we had to leave window open during night, but that is a minor thing.

Beautiful interior in the entrance and lobby. Contemporary furnishings in the suite. Priceless. Looks like the original elevator.

I really enjoyed the lobby and the art nouveau building, the old elevator was super interesting to use. It's a good hotel in the city center.
