How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

You have to change your own sheets, naturally not everyone does it which brings the hygiene issue. My room was with 6 beds and two people were sleeping on the mattress only. Even when you put the clean sheets and pillow case, you still put it on a dirty mattress and pillow. The hostel has a very nice area for socializing, they also had security, but the hallways were full of people drinking and yelling, it was still loud around midnight.
The reception staff were really nice and friendly people.

I stayed in a 6-bed mixed room and the beds would make a sound every time someone even turned around or just moved which was annoying especially if you were trying to sleep. The outlet near my bed was broken and I couldn't charge my phone there. Out of 6 beds, I think only 1 or 2 outlets near the bed were working, and also we had 3 working outlets in the room but they were on the other side of the room. The room itself wasn't spacious and, considering we didn't have an AC, it was hard to breathe inside sometimes.
The location is pretty good-central bus station is 10 minutes away by foot and central train station is 3 tram stops away.

It was too hot in the room, it didn’t have a conditioner. Also the bathroom was a little bit dirty (but it’s more because of the other guests. You have to bring your lock in order to be sure that your things are safe.
The location was perfect near the tram and subway. The stuff was friendly and pleasant to help at any time. In general, room space was clean. The room has lockers and some shelves where you can put your things.

Good location to walk to the train and bus station. I booked a bed in a dorm and had the room all to myself which was nice. Bar downstairs was good to grab a drink and watch a football match (The Euros were on!)

Biggest pain point: value for money. Small twin room, no aircon, active ventilation a joke. Iffy self-checkin terminals. Constantly overtaxed front desk (receptionist, bartender, etc. at the same time).
Location good to access long distance buses and train station. General good condition of building and clean. Quiet room.

Kein klimaanlage. Crazy small underground garage.unfortunatly our mirror car got damage.. 15 euro pr night for the parking lot. For city car is ok. But if u have big car. U need to be reaöy carefully.

I didn't like the size of the room, it was very small. And the light provided by them didn't light up the whole room, so many places were in the dark.
The only thing I like is that the location of the hostel is very near to the central station. Even tram and s Bahn are at your doorstep. Other than that, the stay was okay.

The place is a bit further away from the train station than what it looks like on the map. Also bring with you a padlock! They say they have a place to store your luggage... But anyone can access and no staff is checking the luggage so not very safe to leave valuables unattended.
It was surprisingly good quality for the price.

There is no ac or any type of cooling like a fan or something similar. It gets really hot at night.

It was a mess at reception. Self check in computers were not working properly, it was impossible to check in. One worker at reception (who was also a bartender) with 10+ people in the queue. My bed was occupied, I needed to go back to reception and change a room (for other guest in front of me their bed was also occupied).
Nice location, comfortable bed with USB charger and lamp. For 26€ it's nice. Soap and shower gel is provided. WiFi is working.

Horrible experience with cleaning staff on last specially lady boss of cleaning staff was screaming shouting on me as if I was a slave and ordered me to go out of hotel in very bad rude ways many times. Because I did not know exact time to check out and was late
