How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Everything was very basic (the kitchen is not furnished, but there are electric kettles and a separate fridge for each room). What is important, it was clean there (both room and toilets), and there was a sink in the room. For such a low price, it's just the best deal ever. The location is also comfortable for subway travel.

Not much happening in the area as it’s quite far from town. But only 5 mins from metro station
Good value for money for a private room and good facilities.

Like a student dorm, but clean and is in relatively new condition - but all these are convenient to its price.
Close (300m) from Messe U-Bahn station in a quiet neighborhood (residential area), You can get here within 13 min from the central sation.

There was a notice about shared kitchen, but we have not found it or it was closed. There were no glasses/ kettle in the room, so we have to stay without hot tea for our breakfast.
Perfect accomodation. We were travelling in 4 persons and got a separate room with WC and a showel. A fridge also was in the room. Towels and bed linen were extra-clean, as well as the room itself. Very good relation "price-quality". Hostel is located in a couple of steps from metro, with direct line to Nurnberg's city center. Nearby is the product shop, shipping mall and excellent armenian shashlik (kebab). Besides, there is a possibility to park your car right before the hostel's entrance without any additional payment, what is perfect.

Not their fault but some guests were not respectful as they were talking loudly in the hallway in the middle of the night, not washing their dishes... kitchenware had to be washed before used but it's available and lots of it!
Clean and spacious room. Kitchenware available. Some guests were noisy. Nice, comfy, pleasant, well communicated. Deffinitely a place to go back to.

Value for money (compared to the 400 euro stays during this time) was this the best we could get. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The location is a 5 min walk to the metro station. The hostel is clean and there were no 15 years old students running down the hallway.

We have booked this night for sleeping as we had an early flight at the morning but we could not sleep till 4 am as the room was Opposite the toilet directly and the housekeeper she has decided to clean at the middle of night with a very high disturbance noises and we forced to wait until she finished her work at 3:45 am.
The hostel located in a very good place and easy to reach

Since it is near the metro station and I think a highway, the environment is a bit noisy. The walls are very thin, so if anybody is causing any kind of noise, you are gonna hear it. I had to warn my neighbours personally at 1 am. The bed was not comfortable at all.
The room was very clean. The common facilities were clean enough. I didn't really interact with the staff but she was nice enough. The location is decent. Not so far away from the centre and there is a metro station nearby.

the lamp in the room is extremely week, not enough light to read a book. Also a glass for water would be nice to have in the room.
Quiet, clean, minimum confort, but ok. Good internet. Some 5 min walk from the train station.

Road was a bit noisy, but I did have my window open, it was public holiday and one very loud car was repeatedly going past during the night
Huge room, clean, good instructions to access room as it was a bank holiday, 5 mins from metro, 10 mins from shops. Great value for money in Nurnburg

It is a hostel with common toilet and bathroom. Noise isolation is terrible. No parking available (7 slots are available but all were taken). It can be acceptable if only I did not have to pay 134 € for that!
Location just in front of the exhibition centre. It is clean.
