It was quite fine - rooms simple and clean but no airconditioner.

Beautiful city, friendly staff. The rooms were plain, clean and simple. No aircon, it was a bit hot in summer. Location fantastic! Spanish restaurant and potato restaurant worth trying!

The hotel is located in the centre, near to the market place. The rooms are spacious and we had a very nice balcony with a beautiful view to a church and some old houses. Very good breakfast with everything, you could wish.

There was a foul smell coming from the toilet after the room was cleaned, it only lasted for a day and we didn't get the room cleaned. so not sure if it had to do something with the cleaning. We were occupied and hence couldn't inform it at the reception.

The location is very central, room had a spectacular view with a balcony overlooking the town. Worth staying again.

Not much. Being on the ground floor meant we couldn’t leave windows open when we went out, so the room was a bit stuffy when we got back if an evening.

arrived from the market side, then the big room. In order to go to reception, one should go to the back side, or it might be nice, if there is a small sign at the staircase, to show guest to go upstair and take the evaluator to the reception. If it was not that hot, a small walk would be ok though.

Booked it as last min, as the location is really great, right behind the Rathaus and market. with two restaurants in the hotel. the little cute room can access next to the restaurant. Though my window is to the street, but it was super quiet and the most important, the hotel has air-con for summer! really not expected. Bed is super comfi. Breakfast is great with lots of selection (at least more selection than most other German hotels) Staffs are super nice and helpful, including all the check-in staffs, as well as the lady working in the breakfast room! all the teams have been trying their very best to make guests to have good experience in the hotel! this is really nice!

On the Saturday I needed to leave very early, an hour before breakfast starts. A big thank you to all of the staff who made it possible for me to get some breakfast and a cup of tea at 6 am. Staff was generally very friendly and approachable.

There are limited parking spots in the courtyard of the hotel. So, in case all spots are already taken, you must park at the second parking lot of the hotel (located few meters away from the hotel) which costs you 8€ per day.

Best internet for remote work. Location is right in the heart of the city.

In my opinion, I prefer firmer pillow and the pillows were too soft. I also felt that the room was not sound proofed enough but I understand this is what happens in an older building.

Location was perfect. Staff was friendly. Room was big, clean and had most of what we needed.

Paid a bit of money for breakfast. Poor choice. Would not have bought it had we known. Not problem in the past. Always been good.

pots, pans for the kitchenette only available on request rather than as standard. Not a bid deal for us, especially as there's a restaurant downstairs and plenty of other places to eat. We forgot about the local taxes added to the final bill. Might be helpful to make this clearer while booking.

The room/apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable (if rather functional) and very quiet. Friendly staff and super location just down the road from the town centre.

The hotel has the Kartoffelhaus and it was closed on the Wednesday we were there....This is 2022 isnt it time Germany changed this half day Wednesday closing 😊?

Positive and productive Staff, Cleanliness of Room was excellent, Breakfast buffet was a treat! As well as being constantly refilled by staff.
