The self check in system was fast and nice but I expect to be welcomed by a staff with more hospitality, the room which the system assigned to us was not ready and dirty from the previous guests, and also the heating system was not working at that time which was a problem with the cold weather, even it was an unexpected storm, this should not be an excuse.

The location and the facility was very good, with a small self-service kiosk at the lobby, and a nice espresso machine in the room.

The electronic check-in and the staff there does not work well. The staff did not seem to have even limited English, and finding your room was a challenge. Also as a new visitor to the city, you want to interact and ask questions.

The room was well appointed. However, the eclectic end tables and lamps are not helpful.

The dining lounge menu was very limited and they did not cater for gluten free. We couldn’t get the power to turn off one evening and it took 2 hours for the staff to eventually move us to another room, at midnight, that wasn’t set up for 4 guests as was the room we were leaving from.

Location is great, room silence and there is nothing to complain regarding the overall comfort and experience. I really think that the price would be more interesting if the parking lot was included in the daily rate.

Staff were hit and miss. There were multiple issues with my booking that shouldn't have been issues to hotel being at full capacity and staff being overwhelmed. Staff at Lütze restaurant were incredibly rude and bothered. Location is not great - aside from proximity to start/finish line for marathon. Awful smell coming from shower drain wasn't nice and rates were 3x what they would have been at another time.

Great location for Berlin marathon. Lovely extras such as the pasta dinner, early breakfast and coffee, bananas and Corny bars were wonderful touches and made the pre race preparation so much less stressful.

The seal on the shower screen was sealed properly so if you didn't take the shower head off the clip it did flood the area underneath the sink which had to mop up with towels but aside from that I didn't really have any issues over this night.

It was appreciated that they allowed me to upgrade the room for free to stay in the same room which saved the logistics of moving all my stuff into the luggage storage and then have to go through check in all over again, the staff seemed always only to happy to help, rather just palming you off and hoping you go away. The breakfast I felt was good value, we hungry runners like to eat like horses :-P. Great access to Tier Garten from the hotel, I didn't use the gym or the sauna so cant comment on those but for sure I would have absolutely no issues with returning to this hotel in the future.

1) bathroom seems to be slippery 2) instructions were missing everywhere. For example, it would have been good how to use coffee maker, no idea what's the password of wifi 3) although automated check in and check out process, it hanged both while checking in and checking out
