I only regret I couldn't stay longer, or I couldn't have a hotel like this everywhere I travel. We were in a basic double room that retained a lot of cute furnishings with so much warmth and character, but still appeared clean, well cared for, and renovated. They had exceptional water pressure and the bedside lamp had a special reading attachment which is absolutely for me. These kinds of places feel so comforting and it also had a lot of space, they did a lot with a modest amount of room. The staff is really nice, and breakfast is also nice. The downstairs area is traditionally decorated and I love the personality. My favorite thing is when something is family owned. I always prefer patronizing family owned businesses. The staff/owners were so nice and hospitable, and clearly continue to care and maintain effort and standard. We stayed overnight in preparation for a flight out. There is parking for your car and a restaurant. Some biergartens nearby and plenty of resources for if you have a car rental and you need to vacuum, refuel, etc. Overall a dream stay, would go out of my way to stay again

The family hotel and restaurant provided friendly and excellent service going out of their way to accommodate our unique needs. The breakfast had a very good selection of food and drinks. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and bright with a window to allow additional light into the room. One also had a view from the bedroom window. The WiFi was fast and without any problems. Parking was easy, convenient and free. The restaurant also had a beer garden. The place was always booked so plan ahead if you want to stay here. It is close to the airport and with easy access to Munich via the scenic route or Autobahn.

Beautiful traditional German hotel. Massive room with 1 double & 1 single bed with nice modern bathroom. Very clean and tidy, great helpful staff and a big danke to the staff members who help with our taxi on Friday and especially Sunday👍 breakfast had plenty of options and the dining was clean and tide…Love München and the people.💋

Being a rural town, we were definitely "awakened" when we arrived and got out of the car to the "aroma" of a rural/farming area. Interestingly, the smell wasn't everywhere at all times. When we had our dinner, you didn't smell anything but the wonderful scents coming from the kitchen and other tables. At night, we opened the windows to our room, then closed them when the scent came in. After dinner, we did it again with no issue -- then kept them open most of the night. So, don't know if this was a seasonal thing, or just that day based on what had been done around the community that day. Some of the fruit (pineapply) appeared to come from a can, but some was not. Please rest assured the buffet they proved for breakfast is very good and plentiful. Neither one of these things would prevent me from staying here in an instant, if I had the same needs and plan that required getting to the Munich airport.

Relavent to this review, it's important to know that we booked this hotel close to the Munich Airport, so we had a quick easy drive to both return our car and catch our flight back to the states. So convenience, location, breakfast were our needs. I got a bigger room that we might normally get, so we could have room to organize our packing and just chill the night before we left Europe. The room we got was very big, as was the bathroom. The bathroom has lot of room and nicely laid out with enough wall posts to hand our toiletry kids in different spots, nice size shower, etc. The bed was very comfortable. It also had a sleeper sofa. There was a door that lead onto the long, and good size "terrace" as well. No AC that I could see, but we didn't need it, and actually slept with the windows open for most of the night. There is free WIFI with no password needed. There was a large unit with doors that gave us more than enough room, if we needed it to hang clothe on hangers, put in suit cases, etc. Again, this was probably one of their better and larger rooms -- which I reserved. They have a restaurant downstairs with plenty of outside seating. Looked like the place to come in this small rural and well-kept town. We had some drinks and a small meal to hold us over, after we arrived. Prices were very reasonable and the food and drinks were quite good. The breakfast is a buffet that opends at 06:30 on weekdays, and 7am on weekends, which worked out perfect for us. We didn't special order anything, and I don't know if that is an option. Noodle salads, veggie salad, breads, eggs and ham, other lunchmeats, cereal and fruits, and more were offered. Got our coffee and cappacini from a machine on the buffet. I needed to fill up my rental before returning it 15 minutes away.
