Good location, near river Rhine along which you can walk to the city center in 15 minutes. Good, spacious underground parking. Excellent breakfast. Good beds and shower. Good & gentle service.

Automated/Computerized check in and check out process wasn't working. Only one person at reception at checkout time so had to wait a while. Nothing too dramatic.

Hotel and Room looked recently renovated, everything was clean, maintained and tidy. Parking outside the hotel on the street was safe and cost nothing.

I was not a fan of the shower, the shower head is large but because of that it also doesn't have a lot of water pressure. It might be just me tho, I prefer showers with a stronger water pressure.

The hotel was very clean and organized, check in and check out were a breeze and we had no issues whatsoever. Its near a beautiful canal so a short walk will take you to some nice views.

No gym and the location was just ok. We didn’t stay long enough in Mainz to know if the whole town is just so-so but this hotel is close to the Gutenberg Museum, which is what we came to see. We went to Rudesheim for a boat tour and dinner (it was close) and that and Bingen were very cute iconic looking German towns making Mainz not as appealing.

We all liked that it was clean & comfortable with very kind staff (Alexandra in the kitchen was AMAZING- give this hard working woman a raise! The large restaurant is on the main floor. Breakfast was so good! We got the disabled room for some reason so that bathroom was so roomy and we loved it!

One of the staff was very rude, they only told us 30 mins before our arrival that the parking garage was out of service. They directed us to a public car park a short drive away, which nobody told us was cash only. So that was a pain trying to leave the next day as none of us were carrying the correct notes.

Considering the parking was right under the hotel itself, it wasn’t free and i would say expensive. I only was offered a bit further parking when hotel’s parking was full. Another thing was pillows. I’m sorry but they can not be called pillows, it was some wool in the sheet to look like a pillow.

The traffic on the street at night and in the early morning hours was quite noisy (windows facing the street)

We stayed at the hotel with our dog. He got a blanket, a can of wet food, snacks (high quality!), food bowl. This was included in a very fair price of 15 Euros.

Unfortunately the parking was full and we had to park in a nearby underground parking (just a few minutes away).

We arrived in a room with four bunk beds, to me it gave the feeling of travelling with a boat on the Rhine. It was perfect for our trip with the "boys" (father and two sons). The breakfast was good, they even had "Dinkelbrötchen". The location of the hotel is a brief walk from the city center.

Checking in with the app/pre check in was not smooth. And I was overcharged for an extra dog by accident.

Very comfortable rooms especially with the dogs, good parking and good internet, very close to parks and the river for nice walks.
