Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe food availiable on an evening was very limited and poor quality. A lot had sold out. There are no other places close by to eat. Very noisy and busy road. Air-conditioning in rooms is set at a standard temperature and you are unable to change it, so we were still too warm in the room, I did report it but nothing got done. No tea and coffee facilities in the room.
The location from the tube station was brilliant. Rooms very clean and modern.

GermanyBreakfast. There’s not much option. But my son enjoyed the wide variety of bread.
I like how safe & convenient the location is. The parking space is also great. U-Bahn is just right in front of the hotel so we just took U3 going to Marienplatz. It was perfect! The staffs were also great and they speak english too. Our room was also spacious.

PakistanWith € 292 for three persons for one night, we were given bunk beds. We expected more spacious rooms with proper beds.
Very courteous, and supportive staff. The room had just the basic amenities. Clean room and bathroom/ toilet. Breakfast was good. A subway station hardly 100 meters away connects with downtown well. We took train, visited beautiful old city of Munich. Train station a bit disappointing, after we saw excellent station of Zurich. Hotel connected with Uber.

RomaniaI was disappointed with the variety and diversity of the breakfast options, as well as the size of the room. Despite being a group of four, we were given the same room size as a couple would receive. The space for storing our clothes was inadequate and poorly organized. In conclusion, the overall conditions provided for four people (2 adults and 2 children) did not justify the price we paid per night.
The location and the fact that over the street we can find a carparking for a good price

GermanyBeds and pillows definitely weren't made for comfort. There was mold in the bathroom and appeared to have been neglected for a while due to the amount of growth. However, when I brought to hotel staff attention, they were willing to accommodate a new room and compensate by waiving parking fees. Downfall with that though was that only one supervisor/manager could handle the issue so we had to wait for him until he was on ground.
The Ubahn was literally right outside the door! The breakfast was decent and the staff were friendly.

EgyptWe arrived at the hotel around 11 AM and found three receptionists at the front desk. When we asked about early check-in, the first receptionist was incredibly rude and refused, even if we offered to pay extra. She insisted on a 3 PM check-in. After waiting for an hour, we tried another receptionist, but got the same response. While we were waiting, we noticed several European guests checking in without any issues. Later, we spoke with the reception manager, who was much more helpful and tried to find a solution. Unfortunately, the three receptionists remained adamant that there were no rooms available. Finally, at 2 PM, the hotel manager personally intervened and managed to check us in. He was very friendly and professional. It was clear that the receptionists had refused to accommodate us because we were not European. We were very disappointed to experience such discrimination based on our nationality.
The location is fantastic, right near the metro station. The breakfast was delicious, and the view from the room was breathtaking, overlooking the park. The room itself was spacious and immaculately clean

H2 is a new hotel with very flexible bedding arrangements. It some ways similar to a youth hostel. The rooms are modern, spacious and well appointed. Noise was non existent due to the double glazing and solid doors. Breakfast was amazing!

GermanyWe encountered a very strange situation with towels. On the day we checked into the hotel, there were only two small towels in the room (one for hands, the other one for putting on the floor near the shower). But there were no large towels, although there were three of us in the room. I went down to the reception and after explaining the situation, I received three towels. The next day, when we returned to the room after cleaning, the towels were gone. In a room for three people, there was only one small towel left, which is intended for putting on the floor near the shower. There were no large towels (for the body) again. I had to go down to the reception again to ask the hotel staff for new towels. On the third day after cleaning, towels finally appeared in the room. However, the maid wanted to put clean towels on a certain shelf in the bathroom, but our things were on that shelf. The maid simply threw the things on the floor, where she left them. So instead of just putting the towels on any other free shelf in the room (and there were plenty of those) or on one of the beds, the maid just threw our things that were on the shelf in the bathroom onto the floor. It was extremely strange to come and see your things just scattered on the floor in the bathroom.
The location is fantastic (right near the U-Bahn station). The room was really nice, clean and had a great view. Exceptionally good breakfast.

RomaniaWe have booked 4 nights, and after two nights, we observed that the bathroom ceiling started having mold spots although we didn’t spend too much time in the shower. Also the shower door doesn’t close well, there’s a space between it and the floor and all the water was running on the bathroom floor. We have found one cockroach on a bed lining in the 4th night. Also, we have tried the ground floor restaurant for dinner and bought some pasta, each one of us a different type and except for the bolognese ones the rest were tasteless and one of my friends didn’t feel well after the pesto ones. But great variety to choose from, even sandwiches and pizza.
The breakfast was various, we had what to choose from, we liked the vegeterian/vegan options. The room was tidy, very well organized for 4 people, maybe add a luggage support cause we didn t know where to fit 4 luggages that were although tiny. The service was good, the receptionists answered all our questions with warmth. The fact that the metro station was in front of the hotel was top notch, it was the main reason that we chose the hotel and it did not disappoint.

HungaryThe wifi access in the room was very poor, usually nothing worked, so I had to use my own 5G. But it was still okay.
The breakfast was great, however it was quite crowded, busy. The location of the hotel is great, it's near the metro line 3, which takes you directly to the city center.
