The area can be a little bit seedy, but if you stay on the street and venture down to Old Town, there are no problems. We didn't feel unsafe.

Close to Frankfurt Hbf, walking distance even with luggage. Staff were very helpful, and a special shout out to Gwen, who was helpful at the breakfast buffet, which was very good. The facilities are good and the stay was excellent.

Hotel was spotless, room was a decent size with a desk and office chair if you needed to work as well as an arm chair. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a great hotel at a reasonable price. It is near the train station, so great on first and last day as they will keep your case for you. Only downside is that the closeness to a train station often means there are lots of people milling around. Very close to red light area. But I did not find it too intimidating even as a solo traveler.

The room size a little on small size for 2. The chair at the desk too big for the room. Can be very noisy even on 2nd floor sound of trolley wheels up and down . Not as quiet or relaxing as could be. To have a computer hub would be helpful to still have the choice. Make sure you specify any allergies for feather bedding is used.

Breakfast was superb a lot of choice nowhere else offering salmon and bubbly every morning. The location was very central to transport and shopping and Christmas Market. Reception staff especially Jasmine very polite and exceptionally helpful.

The hotel was noisy because we could here doors slam. The hotel should install self/soft-closing doors.

Friendly staffs, close to train station, super mart is just next to the hotel so it's very convenient. Most sighseeing are within walking distance. Room size is good for three pax

The shower door arrangement made it practically impossible to shut properly, leading to a very wet floor.

Needed a hotel for one night while changing trains at Frankfurt on long distance trip back to the UK. Hotel is well located with a very short walk to the main Frankfurt Hbf Station. It was as expected from a German Mercure, friendly helpful staff, good facilities and an excellent breakfast.

Location is very convenient but not nice. It is close to Frankfurt red district with many individuals roaming the street. Breakfast was good but not excellent. Expect better quality and selection for 23 euros.

The first room we were in had some problems and we had to be moved to another room. The air conditioner failed (in hot weather) in the second room and we were moved to a third room. This one was OK but still had one light not working. The area around the hotel (near the railway station) has become undesirable since our last visit to Frankfurt with litter everywhere and people openly using drugs near the hotel. Disappointing as the hotel is in a convenient location near transport and lots of restaurants and cafes.

The rooms are well appointed and the breakfast was very good. All staff that we interacted with were excellent, especially Carina Schmirow on reception who assisted us throughout our stay. We were also impressed with the maintenance manager, another staff member and the staff in the breakfast room. They are the reason that our stay was good.
