Self-checkin can be a bit tricky, although it finally worked. The whole experience was too impersonal, as there is no staff/reception at the hotel and WhatsApp messages were automated.

Clean spacious room on a good location. The neighborhood is charming and well connected to the center, with many options of restaurants and cafes around the hotel.

The self-checkin device didn't work, so we had to comtact them to get our room number and our pin.

Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Tram stop right outside. Easy to get into the city. Coffee, fresh bakert and breakfast shop literally next door to the hotel so the fact the hotel doesn't supply this is no problem. Perfect place for a one night stop over on our way to Prague. Parking easy too. Check in was so easy online and digital key sent on time. Couldn't have been easier. Had one issue with the door code at one point, sent an app and they sorted it with a new code pretty swiftly.

On the whole everything was absolutely fine, but nit picking it would have been nice to have had coffee in the room

I would feel safer if the door to the floors were actually locked and not just open. Another minor thing was that there is no heating in the bathroom and that the fan kept running all night.

McDreams offers fair value for money. Rooms are spacious and decently furnished. The rooms with the view to the inner court yard are nice. Also, the digital key worked fine.

The only downside is that the rooms are not very soundproof. You could not only hear the showers of the adjoining rooms but actually the entire conversation of the people in the neighboring rooms. Moreover, due to the key code system the doors close incredibly slowly but that was not much of a nuisance.

The hotel is conveniently located, easy to reach with public transport. Due to the self-check-in you can check in at any time, after receiving the passcode. The passcode system works well, when you follow the clear instructions. I suggest you check in online beforehand, so that the passcode is sent to you before your arrival. The room was comfortable and clean.

The human-less reception system wasn´t the easiest to use. I didn´t have trouble myself, but some other guests were clearly struggling to grasp it (indeed it was a bit confusing) and there was just one machine to do the whole thing.

The carpet allover the location.

Hotel Is located in a lively area, about 45 minutes walk from city centre, you can take the traimway just in front of the hotel. The parking is located in the building, you can reach the room directly from there, which I much appreciated.. Large bathroom, sparkly clean room, comfortable beds. You can have breakfast at the bakery close by.

This hotel is located in a quite neighborhood and conveniently connected by trump which stop right infront of the hotel. Hotel room is clean and i got a room with balcony ;) Staff is very attentive even though this hotel is without reception. I was here for Euro 2024, its only for a short stay in Leipzig.

Room carpet cleanness did not meet our general expectation. Assume just eventually some cleaning/vacuuming was missed.

Online self check in was intuitive and easy. Location is good, perfect with car for parking. Rooms are simple, small but pretty much OK. Bathroom clean and well designed. Really liked the keyless/code based entering. Bed was really comfortable.

If you don't have internet, you can't enter the room. There is absolutely no staff. It is not within walking distance from the city center.

A great location, in the industrial and alternative district of Plagwitz. Plenty of shopping amenities and restaurants around. A very smooth check-in! It's possible to park your car in the surrounding streets free of charge.

The beds are ok, except for the fact that they are two single beds combined together to make one double bed. Shower head was broken, so a bit unconmfortable to shower.

Great location, easy check in and access to rooms. communication is easy, the staff replies quickly.

Our code stopped working on one of the bedrooms at 10.26am - even though we could stay through till 11am. Luckily we had already packed everything up and had cleared out of the room.

This is now the second time that we have stayed at McDreams Leipzig. For us the location is excellent - no. 3 tram is right out the front. Tonnes of bakeries and grocery shops in the area. We didn't use the covered carparking instead we found street parking which is plentiful. Previously we had a 'two bedroom' room so we could be all together as a family. This time around we had two separate rooms (not as convenient - but we knew this was the only option) at least they were right next door to one another. Beds were fine. Loved the mural on the wall - could read interesting facts about Leipzig.
