The outside of the hotel is rather unprepossessing, although inside the reception is very smart. The rooms are functional rather than stylish

The room was well equipped and a decent size - including the small kitchenette. The bed was fine and the shower was very good. Staff on reception were professional and helpful. A good value option close to central Berlin

The room was ideal as had a full work schedule. The room layout, was very helpful as i was able to organise my work, rest and was a well appointed apartment meeting what i required.

Lovely hotel near-ish the main historic sights, but not close to many nice restaurants or bars. The area seemed vey quiet on both weekdays and the weekend, compared to parts of East Berlin which were much livelier. Rooms were nice & clean. Pillows were far too soft for me

The rooms are incredibly comfortable and clean with a great shower. Very quiet area although close to the interesting spots - you might have to take an uber depending on what you’re visiting (museum area for instance).

The guy at reception the day we arrived was not super friendly, did not speak english (I am not english but few people speak german...) and did not offer us the coffee capsules...

The rooms are very comfy with the option to put up the heating the old way rather than with complicated aircon systems. The kitchenette is well stocked with crockery and the shower is simple to use (I hate wetting my hair because you the taps are not clear!).

Well located apartments, clean, comfy with everything you need for a short stay. The rooms were quite soulless not even a picture on a wall ( room 601 ) there did appear to be one once as there were screws, probably nicked by the same person that nicked one of the bedside lamps! No air conditioning and the rooms were very hot. Breakfast an additional cost if 18 euros which was a bit pricey considering the abundance of nearby cafés . Shower a bit tired.

The staff was a bit rude and uninterested on more than one occassion, and spoke bad English which led to some misunderstandings.

Pillows were a bit uncomfortable for us and the toilet sit a bit high. The rooms that are on the ground floor (as it was ours) have some privacy issues as the balcony doors have direct access to a passage that people cross every day. Should be highlighted that even if you compete the payment in advance through booking they still need a credit card or 200 euros cash as deposit when you arrive.

The room alarm went off just after I checked in, and the morning I checked out, so I think it was somehow working on my check-in/check-out times, so it was slightly off schedule; the internet did the same.

It would have been useful to have been made aware of the fire alarm testing. It also made me realise that maybe the 9th floor wouldn't have been great if we had really needed to leave as my husband has some mobility issues, which I will have to consider in the future. It would also have been helpful to be told that one of the electrical sockets worked by a switch. It was unfortunate that this was the socket we plugged the mobility scooter in to for recharging and, as we didn't know that, we wasted half a day waiting for the scooter to charge enough so that we could go out once we were told. It would also have been nice to have some information about the local area, shops, cafes, etc

The room was comfortable and warm, not as large as it looked in the photos but it was ok. The lift was easily accessible - we had to use a different one because we were on the 9th floor. We liked the location and found a nice cafe for brunch.

A bit more art on the walls in the suite would have added a creative flair that you'd think would come with a boutique hotel called the Mondrian. The lobby has a nice design aesthetic and I'd recommend some more design touches in the rooms.

Our suite at the Mondrian was completely as advertised, with a full kitchen, bedroom and living room set up that worked well for two people, with a very comfortable pull out bed. While the room decor was a bit minimal, it made up for lack of character in cleanliness, space and light from the four windows. We loved the central location, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience and I would recommend.
