United KingdomA lovely find, this hotel suited all of our group and we enjoyed the additional facilities at the restaurant and spa. Fabian was an excellent host and looked after us throughout our stay, on hand whenever we needed something. The hotel is calm and peaceful with an eclectic, fuss free vibe. We had a great stay and would highly recommend!

United KingdomRestaurant is closed on a Wednesday, Spa next door (my main reason for choosing this hotel) closed on a Monday, Ladies only on a Tuesday. I finally went on Wednesday and was the only one there (so understand the closed days), outside pool was cold (for me anyway) and no hot tub so just various steam rooms, very nice, very clean, very lovely but no one around. I spent an hour there, then went for dinner and returned at 8:40 when it closes at 10pm but they had turned everything off as there was no one there. So lovely and not the hotel or spa's fault but its quiet...
Lovely hotel!, fantastic staff that are very helpful. Large rooms that are very clean and homely, comfortable beds, great shower. Location is lovely surrounded by forests and a 10min walk from town. Silence at night, quick WIFI (no phone signal), fridge with cold drinks in reception, great restaurant with vegan options on site. TBH pretty perfect.

Everything was perfect for us. A bigger room than normal for the price. Everything renovated and modernised. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Special location in the woods. A really nice dinner. Lots of outdoor spaces for eating and drinking (except it was raining for us)

Netherlandsa few points are bad, in spite of the wonderful place: after 8 in the evening kitchen closed, ayhough the bill board said till 22.00 open; no air conditioning; very weak wifi and above all in the evening uninterested staff at the reception. It gives it a negative result hotel is good on the big things and poor on the small ones

NetherlandsA thermos of coffee was provided at the table for breakfast. Cappuccino etc. was only available at extra costs which I found a bit disappointing but then again the freshly made scrambled eggs made up for it ;-) The service in the restaurant at night was poor. They seated us but didn't even ask us if we wanted drinks and we finally had to stop someone after quite some time to order them. We asked for more wine but once again it did not arrive and the main course had already been served. Once again I had to ask someone for it as we were already half way through our main course and they still hadn't brought it. Same thing happened with dessert. We asked for coffee with dessert but once again it took a very long time unfortunately.
Lovely old (from 1900 something) hotel, completely renovated. Everything (halls, room, bathroom, restaurant) was clean, spacious and bright. Loved the location right across from the forest and so did our dog. All you have to do is cross the street. There is a lighted pathway so even at night you can walk the dog without any problems. The pathway goes all the way into town, approximately a 15-20 min walk. Lovely little town with half-timbered houses. Staff at hotel was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. Dinner in the restaurant was nice but quite pricey I found with Euro 8 for a glass of wine. There is a spa in the hotel which we didn't use but is available at extra costs.
