United KingdomAccess to our room was from the outside, despite the room being part of the building. Internal access was not possible due to the passage being via the function room which was in use. A very minor issue owing to the rain in the evening but it could be inconvenient in very bad weather.
Very large room (somewhat small shower-room but not a problem) with lovely bed and excellent furniture. We arrived during heavy rain so didn't get to see the views until the morning ... stunning, fabulous ... Evening meal provided far too much food (our shared starter was almost sufficient) of high quality; a good range for breakfast, too. Plenty of free parking; in the immediate vicinity there is a small church atop the hill which was well-worth seeing, providing even more extensive views of the countryside.

the view was excellent, and a short little walk took us to an amazing view of the alps. The staff was very friendly and the small breakfast had lots of choices including serving us a fresh backed egg

SloveniaVery beautiful location. Very clean and cozy hotel. Very helpful and welcoming host (We had to cancel our booking due to lack of tickets to the Neuschwanstein castle. But later we bought them and the host kindly agreed to reopen our booking. Thank you once again!). The dinner and the breakfast were very tasty. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The castles are 30-40 minutes away of driving.

France- The property is located next to a church. We had the unpleasant surprise that the church rings its bells every 15 minutes - even all night long! We did not sleep much... Each time you start getting into sleep, the bell wakes you up 15 minutes later... That was really unpleasant. We were exhausted. I don't understand why this was not indicated elsewhere in the comments or in the presentation of the establishment. - It was not clear where the entrance/reception was located.
The property is very well located, in a beautiful place. Although we could not see the mountains view because it was cloudy, the place is very nice. The restaurant is very nice, traditional. The breakfast was incredible, with a lot of choice, and homemade products. The terrace was very pleasant. And the room was nice, comfortable and clean.

Belgium- there is no proper management - there are four teenagers who have no idea how to greet guests, or say any decent welcome or good morning in English or German when they see you. - when we came in, the four of them were sitting together and didn’t even get up to greet us. we thought they were just guests. we waited 15 minutes in front of the reception where they could see us and started shouting Hallo - before one of them got up and showed us to our rooms, which were a disaster all the way. as noted above. - in the morning - same trio are sitting right behind the reception - where breakfast is served. they pulled chairs from other tables to sit together and they block the way to the breakfast buffet from the reception. they don’t say good morning or hi - and they don’t even move their chairs to let you pass. - breakfast buffet was standard - no extraordinary food. - they offered scrambled eggs and it was the worst tasteless scrambled eggs I tried in a long while. it as clearly made hours ago and reheated. - at the check out - the price for suite was stated as 137 euros - the booking.com price was 147 - on top of it all - we stayed in a different room that was much cheaper. the girl trying to help us asked the cook for help. he was very rude - he said I can’t help because you have made your arrangement from booking.com and walked away. - this was the rudest, most unprofessional and most disturbing experience we had in the last 5 years we have been traveling around the world. even under the strict covid measures - people were more kind and professional. if you are in hotel business, hospitality is not an option.
nothing. the room we booked - a suite with Mountain View - was ice cold and had no Wi-Fi - and NO VIEWS. the whole reason why we booked this place was the views. so we asked to change the room. we stayed in room 102 - with a balcony from which we could watch the sun rise. that was nice - but the balcony is a shared balcony. so anyone can walk in front of your room to see the views - so it was really disturbing. rooms were not sound proofed as booking.com indicated. we could hear the kitchen door, next rooms snores and toilette activities from our room. so it really was a disaster.
