How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing. The aircon regulators should probably have English instructions. The rooms were slightly warm, and I had to open the windows at night—this was a nuisance since the Police and Ambulance were going around with Sirens all night.
The rooms, Cleanliness, and breakfast were excellent. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the Central Station.

The doors to the bathroom in the room don't provide much privacy; you can hear anything happening in the toilet in the rest of the room. It would also be nice if you could lock the door to the toilet when you are inside (for instance, to keep a toddler from pushing the door open and then getting their fingers pinched when the door swings shut again). But that is probably not a concern for most people.
The room was clean and very quiet! It was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. It is also just a short walk from the central train station.

The rooms did not have fridge which is ok.But there was also no and kettle nor tea or coffee bags.
Lovely stuff, clean and comfortable room, and really good location!

Bathroom is not one room. There was an open space with only sink. Shower and toilet were both separate with seprerate doors. We received water only on our first day at the hotel, despite the fact we stayed couple of nights. there is no kettle in the room, no tea.
Very clean rooms with big, confortable bed. Quiet, nice-looking rooms. we were able to check in earlier, which was great. Nice lady at the front desk. great location especially if you travel by train.

Breakfast was poor for hot food. Beautiful if your just after cold meats and cereal and fruit. Only hot food was scrambled eggs and very dry bacon for hot food. Would not pay extra for breakfast.
Great location. Beside S Bann and 15min walk to main train station. Very easy walk to Center, 15/20mins. 8min walk to Tollwood for Christmas markets and October fest. Nice reception area and small bar.

It's a shame there are no tea and coffee makings in the room. You can order one through room service or go down to the restaurant to get one. However, these are charged to your room.
The hotel is ideally suited for attractions and shopping, the Christmas markets are about a 20-minute walk away, and the bus/train station 5 minutes. It is very clean, the rooms are a good size, quiet and the beds comfortable, nice warm showers.

There could've been more pillows... maybe 2 per guest and they can be more plump. The walk to the hotel from Hauptbahnhof was made difficult by the construction along the way (no sidewalk available) so we were forced to walk on the street with our luggage. Emergency vehicle noise in the middle of the night can be heard even from the 4th floor where we were at.
Most of the staff are friendly and helpful esp Abidi from the front desk. The room and bed size are good. The shower was great! The breakfast was good and could use some daily variety. The location is walkable to Marienplatz although some areas along the way may look a bit sketchy.
