I would have liked an electric kettle to make a tea or coffee. Bed was very firm.

Unimpressive location in a side street with lots of papers blowing around the street. On arrival by taxi from the railway station we were faced with a flight of stairs from the street to reception. We had no problems wheeling the cases on level ground but stairs provided a difficulty. As seniors, one with a broken shoulder and the other with pain on climbing stairs we had to ask for assistance getting the 2 suitcases weighing less than 20kg each up the stairs. The only person available was the receptionist who even though young had difficulty getting them up the stairs. Then the fun began. We were told that the restaurant wasn't open for dinner even though booking.com stated that it would be open during our stay. We had booked a junior suite but was told at check-in that due to water damage we had been given a newly renovated deluxe queen room which was the same size. Went to look at the room along a corridor with damaged walls and bare concrete floors. The bathroom only had a bathtub and we had specifically requested a walk in shower plus the room was very small and no way was it the same size as the picture of the junior suite that we had booked. . Back down to reception where we were offered a room with a walk in shower. Back up to view the room over ripped up carpets along the corridor with remnants of underlay stuck to the concrete floors and cleaning apparatus everywhere. The room was even smaller, the bed and side tables filled the room plus one chair. Back to reception and she agreed that it was a very small room. Had we been told when we first booked weeks before of the problems we could have made other arrangements. We started to feel very sorry for the receptionist but equally we we were not offered what we had already payed for. In the end she offered us a suite at no extra cost which would be ready in a half hour. It was absolutely excellent.

Once we arrived at the suite we were more than happy. It was spacious with a lounge room with a sitting area and a dining table, a separate bedroom, a huge bathroom with double sinks, a huge walk in shower and a bath tub. In fact the bathroom alone was larger than either of the 2 rooms we were offered. The toilet was in a separate room. There were shops and dining options in the vicinity of the hotel

The apartment was a bit quirky, but overall it was a good experience and it was great to visit the relatives.

Great traditional restaurant with classics like Käs-spezle, schnitzel….. etc I had the Hare- loin with handmade späzle ( can’t for the love of me remember how it’s spelled) it was beautiful.

The safe in the room wasn't working- no LED display perhaps because battery was exhausted? Corner of the bed frame was quite sharp and was very painful when I banged into it going to the toilet in the night.

A very comfortable room and bed. A good range of options at breakfast. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We arrived several hours early but were allowed to check in and leave our bags in reception. When we came back they had been taken to our rooms. Location nice and central, very close to the S Bahn station and underground which made it very easy for our excursions to Esslingen and Ludwigsburg.

Neighborhood seemed sketchy the first night but felt fine the second. Less upscale than I believed it would be but it was fine. Maybe a bit expensive for what it was but I'm not sure what usual Stuttgart rates go for.

I was lucky with parking, only one other car in the garage. It was difficult to maneuver in there, so I don't know how it would be if it were full. Good breakfast, easy access to downtown, room was good. Bar was nice if you didn't feel like going out at night, but it closed early.

There was not much left for the breakfast when we went down to eat. It was only 09:20. There was also renovation done in the hotel, and it was quite noisy.

The location was perfect. We went for the Christmas Market and it was only 10 minutes walking from the main event.

The key to the room was bulky. The common areas look a bit outdated. There was no scrambled eggs for breakfast, which was slightly disappointing. Not many vegetarian options.

The small gifts in the room that we got upon arrival. Great location, just by the center. Amazing shower & bath products. Kind staff, allowed us to check out later by 1hr. Overall a great experience and we felt that we were taken care of all the way.

There was a cigarette smell in the room even though it is a nonsmoking room.
