Very friendly and helpful staff! We came for a short citytrip in Cologne and we definitely recommend this hotel! it’s close to the shopping street and you even have a supermarket right next to it. Clarity on the bar menu needs addressing, advertised glass of red a €5.50 =0.1cl but you get at glass with 0.21 cl which almost doubles price in reality to €10.
Very nice modern hotel. Very helpful staff, Samuel was exceptional.

United States6 reviews“I would recommend the Ruby Ella for its location, staff and overall design.”The overall design of the room showed well use of a small space. an outlet beside the sink for the hairdryer would have been easier to use verses a low mounted out at the door with a short coiled cord on the hairdryer. I had to move the desk chair to the door to sit and use the hairdryer more easily. The glass encased toilet and shower looked very modern, but did not allow for privacy due to being inside a glass box while using the restroom.
Loved the atmosphere and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Being able to enjoy delicious cocktails right in the lobby was also a plus.

Really nice hotel with funky contemporary design and decor - really nice bar - Room was nice and Breakfast was excellent. Location was great for us with lots of restaurants nearby. Only a short walk to one of the traditional brauhaus. We walked from the hotel to the main sights and back.
