Had an issue with one staff member Marlene when I tried to extend my stay I found her rude and disrespectful. I found people in hostel wanted to be sociable but there was not many areas other than smoking area to hang out. Most friends I made were from my dorm so book a bigger dorm if you want to make friends. There’s no kitchen or laundry which is fine but there is laundromat round the corner. We kept the windows open all night due to the heat which meant was really noisy but I am used to city noise so this didn’t keep me awake and hostel provides ear plugs.

The beds were comfortable, loved having a wardrobe and beds felt quite private. I stayed in 3 different rooms over my stay, 4 bed, 6 bed and 8 bed. Really impressed with spaciousness of 4 bed with nice view. Perfect location near all public transport options. Showers were clean and never had an issue waiting for anyone.

The only thing that I noticed is that you need a lock with a larger diameter than any other hostel I've stayed in. My small combination lock wasn't large enough to secure the locker near my bed, so I had to use some string to help.

Friendly and informative staff welcome you to this hostel; nice reception with a cafe to one side, and an interior and exterior seating area. The hostel itself is in a very central location, close to a few restaurants, bars and cafes. The rooms and bed linen are clean and well maintained, and the lockers are spacious. Make sure to check out the David Hasselhoff tribute in the basement, where there is also a bar.

The hostel rooms are not soundproofed and being located in a very central and busy area, it is very difficult to sleep at night with all the noise (I recommend using earplugs at night). The rooms also do not have air conditioning, making them very hot in summer. One's own bed has a locker but I found it really inappropriate to spend an extra 5€ just to buy the attached lock. The number of bathrooms/showers is not in proportion to the number of rooms.

The hostel is conveniently located and well connected by various means of public transport. The hostel is cosy and well organised, with rooms suitable for all needs and with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are clean and the general hygiene of the hostel is excellent. The hostel bar offers a full breakfast and generally offers prices below the average for the area.

The pillows on the beds are enormous, but that is up to personal preference. It was 25-30 degrees Celsius during my stay and my street-side room on the fourth floor was quite hot. The windows can be opened, but Berlin is never exactly quiet... I would advise light sleepers to bring earplugs .

Very splendid environment to use as a starting point for exploring Berlin. The facility is located in Berlin Mitte (Centre) and has a Metro station and Tram stop right at the door. Apart from that, the café, terrace and bar are cozy and a great please to meet people. The hostel activities were fun as well.

Only thing i didn’t like were the shared unisex showers for a whole floor, they were dirty and often had things left behind in them. also the shower pressure is strangely high so it’s hard to not get your hair or clothes wet ahah. wasn’t actually crazy bad, was fine it did the job, still would 100% recommend coming here

Loved staying in the 10 bed dorm, definitely depends on who’s in the room with you but with 10 beds you have heaps of chances to meet great people to hangout with. the staff were very nice and helpful when we asked questions, great to talk to in general. location was asp so great, lots of food places, some open until late (5am) so great for after going out, also there is a tram stop right outside the building, as well as one right around the corner so super easy to get places although my stay i didn’t go to any of the hostel events i did love that they had things going on every night, if i had one more night i 100% would’ve gone, they looked fun

Location was great, I loved the neighborhood and it was closed to metro station and stores. My bed was perfect, on front of the window, and I had a really nice roommates. It has a great coffee an a bar. I loved Berlin, it could go many times.

My only grievance was that on the top bunk you don’t have access to a wall socket. You have a USB port but that doesn’t work for Apple phones so I had to rely on my portable charger. It was also quite noisy at night due to traffic and sirens (it’s located right next to a busy intersection).

Hostel was great! I went during the Euro’s and found it to be a very social property which I loved. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though there’s no curtain you still have privacy. The bed was comfortable with a massive comfy pillow. The rooms and showers are all unisex however this didn’t bother me, in fact I barely saw anyone else in the bathrooms the whole time I was there! I think this is because they provided so many. The staff were friendly and I thought that the hostel was located in a good spot close to transport.

The location is great! And they have activities planned for every day to give the guests a chance to socialize. The recommendation of things to do and guided tours to take is perfect. Had the best time. But the best part is the staff..they are such amazing people..both at the reception and the bar...had a a lovely time at the hostel and in Berlin!!

The ubication of the hostel is strategically perfect. Close to tourist and public places like restaurants and pubs. The Picture of David Hasselhoff improved the decoration of the beds 🖤. It was clean, beautiful, and secure. I enjoyed my days there. I'll come back again!

Absolutely incredible apartment on 5th floor - beats a lot of hotels. Spotlessly clean and modern. Quirky touches all appreciated (David Hasselhoff Museum!) . Brewery in basement (you get a free taster voucher on check in). Clearly the owners have given this all a lot of thought to make it a very nice hostel indeed and the detail did not go unnoticed. We came to and fro off a cycling tour and used the locker rooms downstairs - free and secure. We will stay again, have no doubt. We loved it, thank you.
