Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThere was stain on the blanket at the foot of the bed. The staff was not very friendly, not rude either, maybe they were tired. Elevator waiting times are long in the morning.
The location was close to my destination and the central station. The room was big and well furnished. Big windows and a generally comfortable room.

IndiaSparsely staffed. So, waiting time for check-in is high. Also, amenities within the room are very basic.
Excellent location. Very close to Dusseldorf Central Station and also Underground rail station. Hence, easy connectivity with all surrounding places including Messe, Airport through network of trains and buses. Next to the hotel is a beautiful park with small artificial pond, walking area and play area for kids. Room was clean and comfortable.

GermanyParking fee is very expensive, 20 Euro per day. Very unfriendly receiptionist. The air-cond didn't function well, very hot in the night and could not sleep well.
New, beautiful, clean and modern designed room. Big and nice decorated bathroom with very good shower. Big and comfortable beds. Good view from our room. Very green surrounding, big garden with a lot of trees. Nice and comfortable sitting area at the lobby. Great location, easy to reach and very near to the city centre. Good price compare to other hotels in the same area. On-line check in & check out is easy and fast.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. We slept well, and there were enough facilities in the room. Fair price relative to other hotels on the same dates, but nothing extra for the money. You can walk to the train station in about 15 minutes. The metro is nearby. 5 minutes away there is a cafe with Balkan food (bureks) - open on weekends, good food

GreeceWe were surprised to find out that the floor in the room was not properly swept during our stay, the same went for the carpets in the corridors. In the bathroom there was no mat on the floor by the shower and no amenities. We would expect such a classy hotel to offer these simple luxuries to the guests.
Modern decoration, beautiful lobby, located in a quiet area near main metro stations. The view from the windows was great. Breakfast was wonderful, rich and offering many options! The staff was really helpful and polite.

GermanyIn general all of the staff were very friendly to us! However, one person from our group had a small situation while checking-in. It was a female receptionist that kept on mispronunciation his name (which was no big deal at first) until another friend told her kindly that the name is pronounced differently (the Turkish C is pronounced J like in jeans, instead of a K). Instead of adapting or apologizing and laughing about it, she made a rude remark and continued to mispronounce his name on purpose. Everyone else was really nice and helpful and the mispronunciation can happen but it was her rude behavior in particular which I had to point out once more….
It was very spacious and the lobby had a cozy atmosphere. The rooms had everything we needed, were clean and minimalistic. I think it only took us 20 minutes to Little Tokyo by foot but there was a metro station and a bus station very close by as well. They also had an underground car park (which you have to pay for) but if you are very lucky, you can also find street parking.

BelarusEverything was great, except for the check-in process. On the day of our arrival, there was a huge queue of 50-60 standing even outside the building and waiting for the check-in. It's good that the staff took our bags so we could walk and return to the hotel later. I guess it was not a usual situation but rather something extraordinary. A few days before arrival, the hotel had sent an online form to fill in. But the system didn't allow to submit and it turned out that if you've paid already, you don't have to fill it in. Probably, they could adjust the rules so that guests who have paid don't receive this request at all. Anyway, all of those are really minor things, cause the stay at niu Tab was nice.
The hotel is big and located not far from the main railway station which is very convenient. The lobby is spacious and beautifully designed. The room was nice, and clean, with enough furniture for bags and clothes and a tall mirror which is a blessing compared to many other hotels. The bathroom is large with a dryer and magnifying LED mirror that made me stuck there for an hour 😄 The breakfast is superb with decent vegan options, thank you so much for them! The staff is very nice and professional. Also, niu Tab has certification that shows their efforts in saving resources and implementing more ethical practices.

GermanyThere wasn’t a separate section to the shower so whenever you took a shower the floor in the whole bathroom would be wet. I know its pretty common in Asia but didn’t expect it here. Would have preferred if there was a glass door. Also our room didn’t have any kind of table.
It was very comfortable and the location was very good! Only a 5-8min walk to the next train station! Bathroom was spacious and the room was also clean. I couldn’t hair any noise even though our room was right at the entrance to the elevators:)

SingaporeWe thought the room we booked has a separate two single beds but it turns out that they are stuck side by side. Out of personal reasons we had to split the bed by bringing one mattress down the floor. But otherwise everything is great.

GermanyThe only thing I didn't like were the carpets in the hallways. When I got out the elevator to get to my room I was kind of shocked because I thought the room would be as filthy as the carpet was. Luckily the room did not have any carpet.
I chose the hotel because of the location and the price. It was near the place I wanted to go to the next day. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and the room more then pleasant. The bed was comfy and very quite. The breakfast was really great. You could choose from sweet to savory, have fruits or salad.
