So lovely! My whole family enjoyed this place very much! It exceeded our expectations. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We all agreed this is our place if we are ever fortunate enough to come back! The town was absolutely beautiful! Book this place!!!

Located just inside the gates of the old city this hotel was easy to find and a great location for walking around the old city. The staff is friendly and efficient. Fast check in. Rooms are charming in the Bavarian style, a fan in every room. There is a bike room. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice, refilled quickly, great coffee.

That we could only spend one night.

Amazing staff, awesome location right next to the central square. We travelled as a large family with 11 adults and 3 children. We had 5 rooms for our party. The staff accommodated us by putting our rooms very close to each other. All rooms were very tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at their restaurant where the cook went out of her way to prepare a meal that worked for our daughter who is allergic to gluten, soy, and dairy. They also considered her allergies for breakfast the next morning. Upon checkout we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel until we left town l in the afternoon. We loved this place and would return anytime.

Perfectly situated hotel within the walls of historic Rothenburg Ob De Tauber. Traditionally decorated with cozy and comfortable rooms that have updated bathrooms. Staff were helpful and accommodating. We loved our stay at Tilman Riemenschneider.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is definitely a nice and cozy place to stay while in Rothenburg. Having a bathtub in the bathroom was a nice surprise. Very good breakfast

We were quite comfortable with the fan they provided and the windows open but there is no central air conditioning.

Location is fantastic! Steps away from shops and town center. Quick and efficient check in. Room and bathroom sparkling clean. Bathroom is very modern. Room furniture is charming. Breakfast is great with lots of delicious fresh breads, eggs, bacon, salami, fresh fruits, cheese, spreads. Night front desk person was so nice and accommodating. We sat in the lobby at night playing Uno and ordered some wine and beer. The night desk gentleman made sure we got our drinks and were comfortable playing cards. Front desk held our luggage after check out so we could have a few more hours in the lovely town. So glad we stayed overnight in the beautiful town.

Pillows! It was a "traditional" hotel but would like real pillows. Also, shampoo and conditioner provided or bring your own!

It was a charming and well run hotel. We ate their free breakfast and one dinner at the restaurant and food was excellent. Off the "main" street so very quite at night since you need to sleep with windows open but only 2 minute walk to main street. Would recommend 100% and would stay again.

They need to make ice and coffee available to guests at all times. The parking is terrifying… small medieval garage. This is a problem for the whole town.

There is only short-term parking within the walls, so you must park outside the walls overnight. (This is true of all the hotels in the city walls)

We were lucky to book one of two rooms on the top floor of this lovely hotel in the walls of the medieval walled town. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with modern fixtures and charming furnishings. The breakfast was delicious and service from check-in to check-out was great! If you're going to stay in the walls, do consider this spot for your stay.
