The apartment was very cold when we got there since radiators were not turned on. It took some time to get warm in the apartment.

It was cozy and modern with all needed facilities for a family stay.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

A true gem in Denmark (Als), this apartment was everything we wished for: spacious, quiet, well-equipped and beautifully designed. Super comfortable bed and lovely shower. The surrounding area is worth a stroll. The location served as a starting point for our cycling tour along the Baltic Sea, for its proximity to the Fynshav ferry. For groceries (Lidl) and restaurants, Sønderborg is a 10-minute drive from Augustenborg. Access to the apartment is with a key-box and our host Mette was very kind and responsive. We found it hard to leave and will definitely come again!

Would be great to consider adding more cuttlery and tableware - with two people staying, we could avoid handwashing or turning the washing mashine so often. Bed was amazing and really king size, but could very soft.

Very authentic experience with apartments located in the castle surroundings, very close to fiord and walking routes, as well as to town, with huge garden just at your windows. Comfortable and spacey (we stayed in the smaller one, which was more than enough for us), with cosy living room. Bathroom equipped with the basic things you need.

My kids were bored coz the apartment had zero children-aspects on offer. Even a simple TV could have helped or some small games or toys or books, nothing fancy. This would really sell me over as a family oriented holiday place.

The pillows weren’t really our style (too high) but that’s up to individual preference.

The apartment is located on a lovely property with a big lawn and lots of greenery. There is a small supermarket and some other small businesses nearby and also a cafe/bar/restaurant right on the property, though we didn’t have time to try the food there this time. Staff was super friendly and highly responsive. I forgot my bag in the apartment and realized this after checking out, but they came to unlock the door for me right away. The bed in the Amethyst Suite is incredibly comfortable - we wish we could have taken it with us! Everything was clean and tidy and just as described/shown in the pictures. We also loved that it’s a dog friendly property (dogs are 250 DKK) . The surrounding area is quiet and great for walking your dog. Overall we were super happy with the place and would like to return someday.

When we entered the apartment it smelled really bad, like someone cooked fish but not in a good way. I feel like it could have been cleaned better for this reason, they should have aired the room out or used some sort of deodorizer. It also smelled like someone had been smoking in the apartment when you sat down on the couch. Another point is not something we were necessarily bothered by. But I think the owners should be aware of the fact that there is a wasp nest on the roof in the ruby room by the window in the living room we couldn’t open the window there because of this.

Nicely decorated and very big apartment, by a beautiful park where you should definitely take a walk. We stayed here as a stop before we went back home and it was a great place to rest and the beds were very comfortable.

The Room was very spacious, we had the sapphire room, which was the biggest of the four. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the bathrooms were filled with luxurious products that made the experience very nice. There were tiny mistakes such as a charger missing to a speaker in the room, some of the floor panels being loose, and the bathroom door being hard to lock. But that is to be expected from a room with a great and inspiring history. All in all a very fantastic stay, with tiny mishaps, but not enough to make the stay bad. But please do visit if you can.

The pillows were too hard/big for one us. There's no shower curtain, so the bathroom gets wet when you take a shower. No wardrobe with hangers, so we couldn't unpack and hang our clothes. (there was however a small dresser) They make a point of not providing a TV, as they want you to go out and enjoy the nature and art exhibitions. The man, who runs the bistro is not very helpful.

The apartment looks exactly like in the pictures. The interior is unusually stylish and colourful. Everything colour-coded and tasteful. We stayed in "Amethyst" - the purple apartment. (The others being "Ruby", "Sapphire" and "Emerald") It's very clean! We also met the cleaner several times. She was very friendly! As it is located in a park, the view from every window is wonderful. And very quiet during the night! You can also go for lovely walks through the adjacent forest and alongside the water. The beds were very comfortable! The towels were thick and soft - Fantastic quality.

It is in an old sanitarian and it is evident. The place is creepy. Check in was super strange and the staff was awkward. There wasn't a thing in the apartment- not a bottle of water or coffee. Breakfast is not always available on the property. The advertisement says that there is a washing machine in the apartment, but there is no washing machine. My friend said that she thinks there was a communal one in the basement.
