The reception was unmaned with a queue, while 2 staff were working behind the not busy bar.

We had private rooms, comfortable but the shower could be done in another way. It wasn't practical at all!

I have spent two night in a room with other 7 capsule . The room was full of people that during the night come and exit from the room. That was so boring because all the time that a person have to open the door have to do a code . So in the night This sound of the screen was so loud. Than the room was not so clean . The capsule yes, but the rest of the room not. For two days there were a lot of abandoned clothes in the room that smells.

This place is a party place. At the bar there are always people, in particular on The weekend they organized parties or events. There is breakfast on The morning if you want but it is not included in price .

The bar and Hostel door are separate on the street and can make for a slightly disjointed Hostel experience. The bar and street outside is extremely noisy until very late and early in the morning when the street sweepers come to tidy up.

Copenhagen Downtown Hostel is in a fantastic location. The bar downstairs is lively, with helpful staff and they have lots of events for guests. The open fronted bar is also great for socialising! The area outside is extremely clean and the whole area feels safe and secure.

Rooms are very very small, blinds don't block the light enough. rooms could need some maintenance ( the bench on the room was about the fall. the elevator is quite scary and take quite some time to come.

The fact that there is no kitchen where you can cook your own food is a bit defeating my reason for staying in hostels, so that was a hickup for me.

The rooms are okay, but not really spacious so it‘s difficult to find a space for packing/unpacking and store the things.

Friendly staff, very good breakfast (also for vegans), and very good location. A lot of people complained that it was very loud because of the daily event in the bar, but if your room is located in the back of the building like mine was, I could not hear anything and so I slept very well all days.

was not very clean. spilled drinks were not cleaned up in common areas for a long time. Hostel guests used narcotic substances and behaved loudly in the hotel other rooms and common areas. the staff does not control what happens in the hostel premises

The mattress was a bit old and you could tell that it has been used a lot. Still fine though.

Great location, very central and close to a lot of sights, bars and restaurants. The staff was very nice. The whole place has quite the party vibe and also a bar that is open until 5 am, however, I still slept good.

Key cards kept not working. Long line to check in and get cards fixed. If u stay more then 4 nights they may make u change rooms which is a little odd

The bar staff, which I guess doubled as the reception staff, would not let me sit briefly downstairs before checking out because the bar was closed. I had to leave at about 530 am, and the reception is supposed to be open 24/7. However, I was somewhat rudely refused entry in order to repack my bags before going to the train station. If the reception area is closed at 530 am, they should not pretend that it is always open.

I stayed over the weekend as a solo and on the Saturday the bar turns into something like a club so it can be hard to talk to people and make friends there. It can be quite hit or miss socialising. The doors are quite heavy/hard and to open quietly so it is quite loud when people come in late at night.

It is quite central and easy to get to from the main train station. It is quite social and there’s a games room in the basement which not many people used

there is few toilets/showers. it is really bad. the big locker is not really big and there is no lift. if you have a heavy luggage, this can be a nightmare
