How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Great hotel. Super clean and comfy rooms. Friendly staff. Lovely pool and spa facilities. Free tea/coffee in reception. Short walk from the central station/metro and tourist attractions.

My only gripe is quite a few of the games in the lobby have pieces missing. I’m sure it’s just an occupational hazard of some many people playing them but we couldn’t play chess or backgammon, and a few of the other games were incomplete. Minor issue though and we had a lovely stay.
Great location. Lovely rooms. Very friendly staff. Swimming pool is great. Breakfast is lovely. Free coffee and hot chocolate, and the games, in the lobby is great.

All went well.
The room was spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable. We had all the things we needed handy. The staff was very professional, super helpful. The location is also great, very close to the station and only a walk away to the Tivoli. Breakfast has everything, fresh and tasty.

Our bed was not really clean i think the room cleaning could be better. Unfortunately the pool and spa area close already at 5 pm- this is a little bit early

A/C impossible to shut off during the night and it was really noisy so hard to sleep. The room really needs refurbishment as the bathtub is wrecked and all the paintings are damaged. Too bad as the hotel concept is nice.

Rooms are terrible. Could not open windows because of noise from nearby trains. Corridors were dirty. No cupboards in room All in all one the worst hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Definitely not worth what I paid

We were not informed that the pool would be closed at the time of our visit. It was not a problem for us but some people might be sensitive to the constant noise of the passing trains.
Good location if you need to be close to the train station and close to the city center. The rooms are basic but you get everything you need. Free coffee/tea at the reception is great!

This hotel used to have a free access to the swimming pool before but it seems last time I stayed there they made a new rule which their stuff wasn't able to communicate so well. I was told that because I stayed too many times at this hotel and using the pool now I have to pay for the entrance. Usually all loyal customers are rewarded but this hotel didn't understand this or at least some of their stuff. I am a bit disappointed that this nice hotel had to introduce such strange rules and their stuff wasn't able to describe it in a nicer way. At the pool reception I was told that if you booked before the rule was introduced you should get free access but at the hotel they didn't even check when I did my booking or something like that they were just rude and wanted to make me pay. I had such a nice experience at this hotel before but now they really dissapointed me.
The location is perfect and right next to the central station. Breakfast is also good and fresh.

There was a receptionist that was very rude ,made us feel not welcome and was very harsh speaking and never smiled. There was a big smile RAT next to the entrance of the hotel lobby one night this freaked us out. And when we went to rent a bike there was a rat trap box inside of the bike where my children had to sit. So they obviously have problems with rats in the area.
Comfy bed , amazing breakfast fresh healthy food. Swimming pool was really cool kids loved it. And really close to everything. There were two nice members of staff , one took her time explaining where the closest supermarket was .

Limited toiletries (I think they just had a shampoo/body wash combo and liquid hand soap) so would recommend bringing your own.
Excellent location, right by the main train station. Walkable to Tivoli Gardens as well. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of options. Room and bathroom were decent sized for 3 adults. Complimentary coffee/tea machine in the lobby available any time.
