I don’t like that they don’t explain easy the instructions if you want to check in when you use the device next to the reception. The difficult part of this instructions are in the last steps, when you have to take card and hold in the machine to receive your number of room and bed. I touch few times the machine without to understand that I have to hold a few seconds the card on it. I did it, but takes me time. Most of the people they give up when starts to use this device for check in.

I am lucky, that I decided to stay at Generator Copenhagen. I had an amazing experience. Great location, near to the most beautiful attractions. Easy to travel everywhere with the city transport. The staff are very friendly. You can use 15% discount for all food and drinks you order from the bar, during your stay. The rooms are clean, and there has lovely laddies who looks after your room to be clean. You can meet very nice people, and enjoy in the bar with nice music. Highly recommend this place and the city for people who appreciate the good.

When you have good people working at your front desk, you have everything. It's a new hostel, with great amenities and flawless internet connection. The location was also convenient.

The bathroom is less than acceptable. There is no separate shower with only a curtain, and there is no bathroom mat to step out on after showering. The room is small and smells of sweaty and stale cigarettes and drinks, probably from a previous guest.

I came over to get an afternoon nap after a long work trip and rest a bit before my next journey. However, I wasn't able to do so as all my room mates were very noisy, drunk and making unpleasant comments all the time (most of them were men); the room was messy, other people's underwear and dirty socks spread around, the bathroom was disgusting and my stowage drawer was occupied by other people's stuff. Other guests in the room were disrespectful, making loud phone calls, shouting and fighting among themselves (accusing each other of stealing other's belongings). It was impossible to even consider an hour of rest time or a nap. I decided to leave after a few hours as it was really unpleasant to stay around. This was only in the afternoon, so I cannot imagine how they would have behaved at night, but I wouldn't feel safe to sleep over. It's a real pity, perhaps if you travel with a friend or in a couple, the situation and general perception may defer. I wouldn't come back alone.

The location is very central, easy to move around, close to the subway etc. The staff is nice and helpful. The bar area looks very cozy and has a friendly atmosphere, for sure a good place to meet new people if you're around as a traveler.

The bed above was at a very low level and I couldn't sit, only could lay. The pillow was too small and uncomfortable and also there are no towels.

In shared rooms you have to expect that you won't come across a snorer. It's worth taking earplugs I didn't and didn't sleep half the night. So it affects my rating negatively. Also you need to grab your own padlock.

That I could wash in warm water and fall asleep in a relatively clean bed. Sockets by the beds (2), light for reading books, comfortable mattresses

The bathroom wasn't very clean. The place needs repairing/better maintenance/renovation. The common places were dirty, the elevators were really old, the people were very noisy and the corridor smelled bad.

It was okay for just one night. We had an issue with the first room (smell from the bathroom pipe), but the guy at the reception was very nice and gave us another room.
