Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Our stay here was amazing and the staff were first class. On arrival we were told we were getting an upgraded room for free we couldn't believe it :) The view over Tivoli gardens was beautiful especially with all the lights from the Christmas Market. We had a great sleep. Could not fault the room at all. Breakfast was also yummy, plenty to choose from. We arrived by train and the hotel is a 2 minute walk from the station. Loads of cafes and restaurants nearby which was another bonus. Highly recommend!

SingaporeThe noise on Dec12 as there was fireworks and police controlling the traffic due to rowdy football fans around the area. It was a once off but because it was our first night of arrival, the noise prohibited us from sleeping properly.
The hospitality of the staff, the location of the hotel, the size of our room, and the breakfast! Overall they were exceptional! And it’s no wonder, they call themselves that.

United KingdomThe windows were a little old and leaked in a little when it was raining, probably a maintenance issue which can be fixed. Breakfast was extremely busy and the hotel didn't seem to have enough tables for the amount of guests.
We were allocated a lovely spacious room on a high floor which gave us fabulous views over Tivoli Gardens and the city. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Bathroom was large and well equipped, shower was very powerful and there was plenty of towels.Staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good and well stocked.

The suite we stayed in was extremely spacious and had great views over Tivoli Gardens which was lovely at night . The bed was comfortable and everything in the room was kept immaculately clean . The bathroom was also a great size . It was lovely having water in the room each day and we liked the small extra touches provided each day . We also loved the interior design of the property and enjoyed learning more about Arne Jacobsens life and work on the hotel tv . I should also add how wonderful the staff were both on reception and breakfast . They got everything just right

The location was absolutely central and right next to the station, Tivoli and many other central attractions. It is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the city. The staff was extremely warm, helpful and welcoming.
