Compared with another 4 star hotel in Hirtshals, which offers rooms with breakfast at a lower price, Seafront Hotel is not offering comparable quality. Stairways, carpets, furniture in common areas would be improved with cleaning and/or updating. Although there were different food items available at breakfast, the overall quality of the food and coffee was lower than at a neighbouring 4* hotel in Hirtshals. I sent a message to the hotel via Booking.com in the morning and received no reply. I had enquired about a restaurant at the hotel. The hotel's online information does not include information about the restaurant.

The shower was a bit messy as water ran out over the entire bathroom floor and we had to get extra towels to clean up. The interior/furniture was of an old fashioned type, but it we could live with that as the excellent bed was the important part for us.

We stayed in a room in the tower. It was nice big and bed very comfortable. location excellent if you are going with a ferry.

I had a room in the new tower, very comfortable and clean with a great bathroom. it only needed a kettle/coffee machine and blackout curtains to make it perfect. Good location close to train station and ferry port.

The bed was confortable but the mattress protection sheets are too small and not adapted therefore you finish your night on the mattress itself which is not great and hygienic.

Great stay in a very nice hotel. The terrace with the viez are fantastic. Great bathroom and room is quite big. Easy parking and access to hotel.

The room was doesn't clean, many dust on floor. The bedroom had dirty bathtub - I cleaned myself before I wanted take bath. Outflow of water was very dirty and working terrible. One of two washbasin was leaking to floor. The hotel totally not worth the price.

General appearance of the hotel looked worn out. When we arrived at our room, the beds were not done properly. The bedsheets were not tucked in. The bathroom had no proper toiletries. The soap lotion bottles were half filled up. Also for breakfast the food was not replenish or refilled. Service staff was not present at the reception.

I guess a larger breakfast selection may have been nice, but what was there was more than adequate.

So Hirstal is not a big place and (forgive me if I am wrong) I guess a lot of people travel there on their way to Norway. But this hotel is amazing. The most stunning view you can imagine and the manager is sooooo friendly. Also 1000% safe and secure

The TV was not receiving the satellite signal. They swapped TV's for us but still no English channels. Seemed to be a provider problem, but it didn't get straightened out. Internet was up and down, didn't effect my PC much but drove my wife crazy on her tablet and phone.

The host was great. Had to return my rental car to an obscure location, he led me over in his car and gave me a ride back to the hotel. Very friendly, well traveled in the US and we swapped lots of fun stories. One interesting thing, he was visiting his daughter who was at university in Seattle and she took him around to some Washington micro-distilleries. He loved them, bought himself a small still and now makes whisky and liquors in the hotel lobby. You can buy tastes and bottles. The room was very large with an oversized bathroom. All the rooms in the Seafront Hotel face the ocean and have an L-shaped balcony that wraps around the corner of the building. Great views over the working harbor and the ferries arriving and departing, as well as great views over the beach and ocean to sunset. The furniture was all flame grain maple veneer and looked great. Comfy bed, both a foam and a feather pillow, good lighting. Extensive breakfast, scrambled eggs and smoked sausage for the less adventurous, a great selection of cheeses, cold meats, herring and breads for others. Nice fruit available as well. All in all, a great place to spend a few days before taking the ferry to the Faroe Islands.

From the moment we arrived, our host was very accommodating. He made sure we were comfortable and met every request. The location was perfect for harbor watching. Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. The grilled shrimp kebabs were especially amazing.

Wifi was not super fast but that's fine!

We loved how big the room was and the balcony with a view of the harbour. The location was quiet but still close to everything. We were able to walk both to the lighthouse and the aquarium. The staff were very nice and the stay was lovely! We were staying in Hirtshals incidentally, not as our main destination, but it was worth staying at least two nights or more! It's a very relaxing place to spend a few days.
