Very difficult to get reservations at the restaurants. The food on the buffet very average and sometimes not edible. Hard to get anything above and beyond service wise. I couldn’t get my safe open in my room and no one ever came to help me. The TV didn’t work. The mattresses are very hard.

Beautiful pools, beach, beaches, grounds, facilities, and rooms. Everything is clean and comfortable.

There used to be a show years ago and that has disappeared. The daily activities are not what I have encountered in the past. The animation staff need more interaction with the guests.

The food could have been better my wife didn't really like the taste of the food as it was too simple.

The place is lovely the beaches were beautiful the staff was friendly and very accommodating. It is a magnificent hotel.

Dont allow smoking in buildings or outdoor spaces. Speed up check in process. I missed more activities toward the beach (music events, bar by the beach, ability to borrow paddle boards, rackets or beach entertainment stuff). Things that other hotels offer at Bavaro beach Swimming pool is awesome but needs inside renovations, specially jacuzzi areas which were not working

tried to sell me to buy melia membership starting at $16,000 after knowing I was extorted at the nearby hospital Hospiten, paying $1,500 for basic wellness check. Food was generic - needed some authentic Dominican flavor

Upon arrival, the room was dirty, I had to request to have it clean. We were very disappointed. The food wasn’t the best, most of the workers seemed like they are upset, hospitality needs improvement.,

The food is below average, overall. The buffet food was mostly good. Room service orders are not consistent (and not many options, anyway).

- the room service is non existent, you call for anything at all, it will never come. It’s that slow - they run out of the towels at the pool also - the alacarte restaurants have the same things on the menu as the buffet so it’s better to just eat the buffet everytime as you’ll get so much more - they cannot take care of dietary restrictions, twice I was served drinks with alcohol inspite of very clearly asking them to be without alcohol. And when I asked my server , they kept insisting that it’s without alcohol (even when I’d taken a sip and realised it isn’t) I had to ask them to taste it to believe me

The location, rooms, and the pool in the adult only zone were really good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The buffet at the ‘lunchbox” restaurant is nice. Activities are also nice

Room/customer service is extremely slow. you can ask about something and didn’t even get it after few days! Until you go to the reception and insist something to be done while you’re awaiting..

The room is a little bit old,but in general it’s nice and clean.

The atmosphere is very nice,and the pools are awesome.Maybe we came in June not high season, we don’t feel it’s crowded. The food is good enough,but we can go to eat in the restaurant besides (The Circle).The buffet restaurant in Circle is excellent.

Our toilet did run a bit while we were there and it took a while to get a handle on the thermostat. It would’ve been nice if citronella candles were one of the amenities in the room if I wanted to go outside after dark and not get bitten by mosquitos

Enjoyed the various restaurant options. The swim up room was great. Private access to the pool in your backyard! Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Lovely place to relax and unwind with friends

Concierge staff rude. I was supposed to get a 200$ credit they didn’t give me until I had to hunt it down. Then it was too late to use the coupons. Tried to talk to them about it but angel was rude and uncooperative. Food other than desserts was marginally good. Inconsistent. Cold. Steakhouse Was like shoe leather. All the specialty restaurants food was poor. Wait staff very poor.

Terrible check in we waited 30 minutes for one person to check us in. Then I went to ask a staff to get More help nothing happened then I went again to ask for assistance and finally one guy sitting at the concierge - just behind the front desk - gets up to help. It was really frustrating because after a long flight we just wanted to get to our room plus we had a small child. To have one person at the front doing checking in and selling tours was not good enough

Where to begin…roach and mosquitoes in the room. Meals are incredibly restrictive with a “reservation” required two days prior for the restaurants otherwise you have to eat at the buffet. Room smelled like mold/mildew. Staff wasn’t friendly or accommodating. I would not recommend staying here if you value how you spend your hard earned money. Went to everywhere including the bellboys in search of change for 500 pesos and no one had any money…yea ok. Everything is an up charge and not included at an “all inclusive” resort.
