How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No complaints, it was all good.
Good hotel for a short or long stay. Friendly staff, nice size room with a big bathroom and all the activities, delicious breakfast, good WiFi, centrally located and all around good .

We had to ask 3 times to get the coffee maker in our room as perour booking. We had to move rooms due to a alleged problem with our original very nice room, the second room although it was a suite was not as nice.
Staff did what they could to resolve our issues. They were patient, helpful and respectful at all times

Van for pickup @ GYE made us wait over 30 minutes. I just had knee surgery & cannot stand that long. Wheelchair assistant at airport refused to wait, wanted the wheelchair back & then leave. Every time we stay at Unipark (once or twice a year) we wait.
Bed very comfy, friendly staff, love the breakfast

Every thing was great!
This is a nice hotel located at an exceptional location. The facilities were very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful with my staying there. Super recommend, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great,,lots of selection of food.

Weak shower water pressure, but one can live with that!! Otherwise great stay.
The location is perfect to see the major places in Guayaquil. On the other side of the park in front of the hotel, one can take a tour bus that takes you around the main sites. Also the boardwalk is only two blocks away for a nice long walk. The included buffet breakfast is excellent with omelettes that are made individually, fresh fruits and many other delicious things. All personnel is very helpful. The room was very big and comfortable and so were the beds. Also, a very good restaurant (La Pata Gorda) is located only a block away. Very good value!

The safe box did not work. The first night room was having issues with shower water leaking to the whole bathroom floor, and the air conditioner was very loud. After that they changed room for us. Then we felt comfortable for the rest of stay. Even though the new room still having safe box problem but we are ok as we felt the hotel is very safe. If they had prepared better before customer coming,there would have been no issue at all. Hope they can improve.
Very nice people,very comfortable beds, great location. All the people in service are very nice and working very hard. The breakfast was delicious and many choices.

The spa was mild. The mall the hotel was in made it a bit chaotic and decentralized to navigate, but the staff was extremely helpful. The wifi in the co-working space was not good. I used data to take my meetings.
Location was lovely as was the room. Breakfast was exceptional and offered a variety of foods. The sauna was nice-- it is a dry sauna. The co-working space was BEAUTIFUL and the view of the park was lovely.

I was hoping for a printer in the business center but it was basically two computers on a shared table. That is only thing that I can think of.
Very nice facility with very comfortable beds, an amazing breakfast buffet, and super helpful staff located across from the Iguana Park and a short walk to the Malecón.

2 of the pillows smelled like dirty old man hair. NOT FRESH. Only 1 bottle of water for 2 guests. No kleenex. No one appearing at the olmlette station.
Wonderful soft bedding and several pillows. Quick help with luggage.

I tried to request a shuttle bus to pick us up from the airport but no body responded
The buffet in the morning was exceptional. Great variety of food. Also, there was a nice little gym with a juccuzi and Sauna.

The restaurant took 45 minutes to make 1 pizza and a portion of rice. The ordered salad never arrived.
The hotel and staff were great. Centrally located in downtown Guayaquil. Easy to walk to Malecon 2000 and Iguana Park. The bed was super comfortable.
