How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Toilet lid was broken. Flat was huge, but seemed quite empty. Bedroom does not have doors or window. Terrible canalization smell in shower. When we came wc doors were open and terrible smell was all over the flat. You have to consinsider how to improve ventilation.
Good location, easy to find. Clean, near apartment was car park.

Aparaaditehas cultural and creative centre was nearby with a bakery café and restaurants. Within walking distance of both the railway station and the city centre. Our room was clean and had a kitchenette and high ceilings.

All was great! Free parking near the doors. Easy to access via code sent on phone before arrival. Apartment was clean and spacious. There was ground coffee, tea, sugar and salt in the cupboard. All needed utensils for cooking where there. Also very quiet. Free wifi, TV. Half an hour walk to Ahhaa and Aura centre.

Apartment was very simply, room is for five, but chairs was only 4. Wished more chairs or smth.
It was last minute booking, so price was good.

We had a triple room, overall the apartment was clean, but bedsheets were stained and some random hairs were on them. And there was only one tea spoon and not many kitchen utensils in general. Also some maintenance works could have been done regarding furniture, one of the cupboards was broken and same with the closet.

Little bit cold for me. Cause windows let cold in and i let warm inside from The bathroom door open.

A broom and scoop would be handy to clean up any mess and the drainage in the shower is not very efficient.
The apartment was clean, tidy and easy to find. Filter coffee, sugar and salt is provided which is convenient.

Some minor cleanliness issues, shower head leaking, pressure could be stronger (maybe ok after tube leak is fixed), calcified shower head. No free car parking, but nearest free parking is 5min walk away.
Good location - very close to Aparaaditehas, close to main street. Keyless entry. Was too hot, need to adjust radiator - then it was ok following night. TV with many good channels.

Even though it was written there are ceiling windows, it was dark. Also not enough smaller lights for example for reading. The high ceiling lights were not enough.

There is very little cooking equipment but you do get the basics like the listing says. The pan was bent out of shape and still had oil inside. There was music coming from somewhere until late and started up early again. Furniture is the cheapest stuff you can buy but everything worked. Not the worst at all but for this cost you can get better in central Tartu.
I knew there would be no windows, so that was fine. The bed was comfortable, linens nice, it was quiet at night and the shower was good. Good towels. Clean and tidy. A short walk to city center, several supermarkets.

It is no good to live in the rooms without windows as there is no fresh air in the room and the corridor.
Location is good, and relatively cheap.

Shower did not work properly, needs repair.
Good location, parking lot in the yard, not far old town, in walking distance. Self check in, good communication with the staff.

We received the door codes well in advance and it was relatively easy to find the room. The room is well equipped and clean. The hotel is very close to the train station and within walking distance from the city center (ca 1 km). It was very quiet.

Before arriving I checked a list of included things and there was coffee maker, so we were counting on that. But at the place was no coffee maker :(

The bathroom was not that great when u turn on the shower for 1 min the bathroom floor gets flooded with water and i needed 10 mins to flush the water down

After a week, I saw bugs (like silver fish). Nobody comes to fix if something gets broken... they just stopped replying. I guess when it is not raining, there won't be any problems.
Staying for at most one week is great. It was clean and had everything you needed to eat or cook. The room was way brighter than I expected. The windows and the ventilation were really nice.
