Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomShame they don’t sell alcohol as a tourist would have been nice . Booked deluxe room mainly to watch light show of the pyramids but that never happened ( not hotel fault ) Messaged hotel before asking if lift although there is a lift it don’t go up to the deluxe room still have stairs to climb so not ideal for the less mobile .
Great views of the pyramids met the owner who was accommodating . Friendly staff .

United KingdomThis hotel was amazing!! Like 100% genuinely great!!! After reading quite a few wild things about hotels etc in Giza and Cairo we were quite weary about this booking but everything worked out amazing. The place is real, the staff are wonderful, the owner is lovely, the room - fantastic. We booked the room with the jacuzzi bath - which I would highly recommend. It was clean, comfy, even a little fridge and kettle station in the room. The jacuzzi bath was amazing after our long day at the pyramids. The view from the room as well is just mind-blowing - incredible!!! The bar staff were lovely too, we did have some wine and dinner there one night, it's just standard hotel style so not bad. Really convenient to walk to the pyramid ticket office and entry, local food shops and bakeries close by too. Very happy with our stay!!!!

IndiaTriple bedroom with Pyramid view is a sham. There's a small 2ft x 2ft netted window which has the pyramid view. You have to find it after climbing on the bed. The owner kept requesting for reviews. If you request beyond a limit, it appears aggressive. Something to work on.
Best location. Friendly staff. Value for money. I will come back. Pasta and Pizza was great. Tasty breakfast.

United KingdomThere was a power cut, and one of our party was stuck in the lift for over 15 minutes. Panick was setting in, thankfully the technicians came swiftly and got her out of the lift.
Property is clean, decent sized rooms; staff is very friendly, checkin and check out process was done very efficiently for my party of 13!

United States-the hotel location (directly across the street front the communal Horse/Camels). They were cute but definitely not expected. -The bell boy was persistent with receiving a tip after told several times “we had no cash” -The room wasn’t restocked (ie. with toilet paper, hand soap extra towels)
The Sky bar (the fourth floor) views of the pyramids/sphinx were breathtaking! the food was also well seasoned !

IndiaLocated in the touristy area of Giza, we were approached by camel and horse runners on the street. The area is unkept and smells of animal excretion. There were unwanted men lounging around in the reception area. The cleanliness of the rooms, rooftop restaurant and alleyways must improvise.
The view from the terrace and the great service provided to us when we checked in by this kind gentleman in the middle of the night. Our stay was safe and sound. We thank entire the team for making it a lovely experience even though we were intimidated on our first night.

IndiaNo WiFi at all on all the 4 days we stayed in this hotel. Good part, most of us had bought local SIM card at the airport and wasn't dependent on hotel WiFi. Restaurant top floor is very priced. We had food the day we arrived and then got to know it is very over priced. Breakfast first day was fairly good but then it became worse as the day passes. areas that the hotel really need to work on the price and taste of the day. Hotel is placed in the area where you will find a lot of horses and camels reside. So, at times in the room and the entrance of the hotel stinks of that smell..
I stayed in this property for 3 nights on 26th Feb. The view of the Giza pyramids from the hotel restaurant which is in top floor is the best thing of this hotel... Even in the night it's amazing. Very welcoming staff and approachable. especially Tofiq and the receptionist. Rooms were convenient and had always had hot water and good from the taps all the time. Very close to Giza pyramids and some of the restaurants like KFC and Pizza hut. All are walkable distance. It is safe to walk around as the area is protected by police.
