The property needs an huge upgradation of its room floor, furniture and bathroom interiors as they are all so old and damaged and also the airconditioning system, as the local temperature is normally very high. Thereis a huge noise transmits from the traffic all the time as the room is not fasctilliated with sound proof. The breakfast is average. They however had shifted us to anoher room which is bit better, where we could sleep just a night before we depart.

At check-in, they requested the payment to be 8n cash, pretending that the payment machine is not available and they are not sure of its availability at the time of checking out When I insisted on paying in plastic, they added 5% of the total price after services and taxes expenses

I like the location and staffs. It gives you a pretty laid-back vibe. Things are quite casual here. The elevator reach you to 15th floor. You need to walk up one more floor. Laundry service rate is reasonable

Score 10 for the guys at the reception and the girl who served breakfast, they were all smiling all the time, which makes you feel good! Very kind everyone! The internet works very well, the location is close to the subway and many tourist spots! The furniture and bedding are a bit old, but for me it was fine because I only needed a bed and a shower! It would be great if you diversified your breakfast at least a little, with a fruit or yogurt! Greetings from Bucharest, boys and girl! I highly recommend!

Everything was perfect. I had a great experience. Just that I had booked the room again for my last night in Cairo because I liked staying there. But when I arrived from the airport late in the night, they had given the room to another guest and guided me to their sister establishment Compollion Hotel. It was a communication lapse. They had sent a message confirming my arrival time on Booking.com but I didn't get the notification. It was certainly considerate of them to not just turn me out at that time of the night and guide me to another hotel. Also my night at Compollion was good too. But I paid 30 USD for the room at Castle which had a private bathroom and balcony with river view. The room at Compollion was small, with a really bad view from the window. It was just nearly not as good and the bathroom access was outside the room. Ideal thing would've been to charge me less money. But staff at Compollion was good too and I had a comfortable night there.

The overall ambiance of the place was great. The room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony and the Nile view. Staff was very polite and helpful especially the lady serving breakfast. I had a great stay at Castle Hostel.

This may be a blessing in the summer but the place has no heating and we were freezing in the room. Bed sheets were stained.

Absolutely lovely staff. We stayed in another place in Cairo and the attentiveness, kindness and helpfulness in Castle Hostel was incomparable. The place is nicely decorated and generally enjoyed its vibe. Good kitchen facilities too and there's hot water in the room. Lovely view of the busy road.

The location is perfect, walking distance to the Museum, the Metro, the main bus station and the Nile. Super lovely helpful people run the facility. They put on a surprise dinner and music for everyone on new Years Eve, such warm generous people.

Awesome location so close to everything. The room was good and big. Minter views as high up also not to loud as far from road. The owners were super kind, awesome English and went out of there way to be helpful. Cup of shy on arrival and awesome breakfast. Room was perfect. One of us were sick and the owner made him a special tea. Super kind and it actually helped. Would stay again for sure.

bad place, I forgot my jacket, bathrobe and shower gel in the room, everything disappeared. I sent 4 messages and 4 imeils to which I got an answer after a week back in Italy, very bad. suitcases tampered with, the hotel's response was that it was impossible and they could show me the cameras, a pity that the cameras weren't in the room. black bathtub and toilet leaking everywhere, I don't go on that I don't even want to write. trust us don't give in.

They didnt provide any Towel or Balnket. May be due to early check in they forgot. But it didn't create problem. Also didnt get the Wifi password

They provided me the room earlier than their check-in time. Though i disturbed them very early still they did it with happy face. The washroom were large and good. Location is the best part. Very near from the GoBus station and other restaurants and also Train station
