I spent ten days here with my fiancée, after having traveled solo across Egypt for a while. At first glance, the resort appears impressive: spacious, well-maintained, with thoughtfully designed architecture and pleasant pathways connecting the various areas. Our suite was generous in size, offered a sea view, and was tastefully decorated – though noticeable wear on fabrics and bathroom fixtures revealed signs of age. The staff were polite, but operationally inconsistent. Check-in at RPS was slow, and our luggage arrived over an hour late. Room service brought the wrong order twice; the third time, the cutlery was missing. No one was unfriendly – but no one seemed truly in command. The buffet restaurant was well-stocked in quantity but inconsistent in quality. Pastries were often dry, fish overcooked, vegetables bland. The bar had a better selection, though nothing stood out. Classic cocktails felt improvised. The spa had atmosphere, but the Spa area was out of service on multiple days, and the steam room smelled heavily of cleaning agents. Worth noting was the Eid dinner, which my fiancée attended alone. She described it as surprisingly underwhelming: instead of the promised lobster, only tiger prawns were served, and the buffet looked hastily assembled. Other guests seemed to notice too, albeit silently. Overall: a stay with highlights and flaws. The resort functions – but it doesn’t shine. The service tries hard, but rarely lands. The property feels like it’s living off the reputation of former years. And sometimes, if I’m honest, I found myself thinking back to a small B&B in Dahab where I had stayed just days earlier. No comfort, no service, no ambition – but the coffee was hot, the view was clean, and no one pretended it was more than it was. Perhaps that’s where the difference lies: between what something is – and what the Rixos Premium Seagate would still like to be.

Personally, nothing to complain. Room service and shampoos weren't so spectacular but I was able to handle without them.

The place is perfect for those who seek simplicity and calmness for a few days stay. The staff are very decent, very helpful and very kind -I've dealt with Mohamed Ragab who was really nice-. There is a kitchen that residents can use to prepare hot drinks and store food/drinks in the refrigerator. The place is really close to the famous Dahab Tourist Walk and a couple of public beaches.

this is a great place to stay if you are planning on using the accommodation to sleep and rest after a day at the beach, the place is great, the bed is comfortable and the staff is the best, Tarek and his staff helped us with everything we needed, the place has a nice rooftop where you can relax, breakfast is good and allows you to start your day slowly without having to go out to find some crowded place to eat. definitely great value for money.

Even though it’s close to the main street, it didn’t bother us, it was great a great place to go back to sleep after a day of eating and enjoying the water.

Great location close to restaurants and the sea. It also has a terrace to have breakfast, see the sunset or just chill. Ask Tarik for restaurants and activities recommendations, he gave us great tips. He also organized the airport transfer and waited for us even though we arrived very late. Mohammed was also very kind and helpful. He prepared a delicious breakfast every day. Thank you for a great time in Dahab!

The rooftop terrace is spacious and lovely, nice place to relax for sunset evenings with the sea breeze. The room is large with closet mirrors desk TV private bathroom (tub) air conditioner and a nice big comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Location is 5 min to the GoBus station and same to the sea boardwalk (the wooden bridge). Tarik is an excellent host and his staff Mohammed is so nice and helpful. Highly recommend for a Dahab stay.

Wifi can be on and off so if you need them constantly make sure to have your own (this is like many other accommodations in Egypt so I really didn't mind)

Tarek is an amazing host. He is very kind and everything that he recommended (diving center, snorkeling trips, restaurants etc.) made our trip in Dahab into an exceptional one👍🏻 Located very close to go bus station and main street of Dahab so it was easy to get around the city. Tarik's guesthouse is very nice. The space is very clean and the time shared with Tarik is completely advisable. It is well located, just 2 minutes walk from the central point. Tarik helps you a lot to make the visit a very beautiful experience. Dahab is really worth it.

It was a bit hard to spot it, but we were sent a photo and the staff came out to welcome us which was great.

My wife and I are full-time travelers (@quenchyouradventure) and this was the perfect spot for us to enjoy Dahab. The location is 2 minutes from the main bridge, right near a taxi stand, and so close to many restaurants and markets. We slept well on the bed, the air condition worked well, and we liked having a fan. We enjoyed eating breakfast each morning from the rooftop area and the breakfast is very big, we couldn’t quite finish! Egg, vegetables, beans, cheese, bread, and yogurt. The service was always with a smile and communication was very good. Great value for the price! 😊

Great budget stay. Location is fantastic - perfect blend of quietness and accessibility, 3 min walk to the promenade with a multitude of cafes and restaurants, shops etc. Room is decent size and equipped with all necessary things for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace, food is great. The host Tarik is a very friendly and lovely person, communication was very much on point from the minute i booked the room in the property. Ask him for recommendations on activities and places to eat etc, he was greatly helpful. He also runs Fantasea diving centre - it was so convenient for me to find all that i need for a perfect vacation in one spot. Thank you Tarik for your hospitality and your help, hope to see you again some time in future!
