Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The room in very clean, with big shower and the rooftop is amazing , we have room with the pyramids view. Which is a very good spot for us to stay. And the Staff there are amazingly kind people who showed us around, helped take our luggage, incredibly nice and helpful. They are very friendly as well. Highly recommend. Many thanks to them.

Glad I stayed there. Infact I felt sad when leaving. They took me to fast horse ride, ATV, you can ask anything you like to do they will arrange it. I would rate the 10/10. FranceWe want to say Thank You to the staff of the hotel Dima pyramids view We were met at the reception and staff was very friendly and happy 🙂 They took our baggage, offered us a cold welcome drink, showed the terrace with view on the pyramids, explained everything , offered a guide for the next day and showed us our room. We had a possibility to choose the room. Room was clean, sheets were also new and clean. We wanted to buy smth in the city and Osama came with us, showed us everything and even took a local transport for us to test it. It was very nice experience! Breakfast was also delicious with a view on pyramides. Then they organised all our day , we were in connection all the time, they helped us a lot ! We are really happy and satisfied , so we can recommend this place for staying in Giza .

An unexpected experience!! The place is very clean and safe, and the staff in this hotel are fully prepared to provide assistance to you and solve your problems, whatever they may be. This is why you feel that this is your home and not just a hotel. They are also interested in the opinions provided to them and work on them. I was very happy during my stay in this hotel and I do not think it will be the last time for me

ArgentinaI recently stayed one night at [Dima pyramids view ] and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive to all my needs. The room was immaculate, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The bed provided a great night's sleep, and the amenities, including the complimentary Wi-Fi and toiletries, were a nice touch. The decor was modern and tasteful, making the space feel both luxurious and homey.I also had the chance to dine at the hotel's restaurant, which offered a delightful selection of dishes. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options.Despite my short stay, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and the quality of the accommodations. I would highly recommend [Dima pyramids view] to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, whether for a quick visit or a longer vacation.

AustraliaPhotos do not match the rooms. Rooms don’t have pyramids view as opposed to the photos. No towel, shampoo, cups or any other basic facilities were available once we arrived. No iron or hair dryer. Very poor faculties. This is while in the property description it said they have them all.

GermanyHotel is a family business and mostly run by children! Some of them are barely 10-12 year old, partly minors. Just the highest floor is the hotel, the rest are family apartements Hotel is a bit difficult to find Because all the camels and horses for the pyramids were driven in the street in front of the hotel, it smelled a lot after animal dung in the morning and evening Cats were living in the hotel, you couldn't eat your breakfast without them jumping on you or the table to get some food Cats destroyed most of the furniture on the rooftop
Nice room and view from rooftop to the pyramids. Staff was very helpful, but for our perspective obstrusiv Nice, big breakfast selection Clean rooms, good shower with a shower cubicle

GermanyIt was very noisy during the night because the windows and walls are very thin (especially because of the rooster crowing all night).
The view from the rooftop was beautiful, very helpful staff, the organisation of the trips went well.

BrazilI had made the reservation on Booking but when I arrived at the guesthouse at 11:00 pm they started cleaning the room, I had to wait. Dima Pyramids View is on the street where the horses and camels enter the Giza pyramids, so no matter how much the street is cleaned, there is always feces and a terrible smell; this is the cost of offering this type of service to tourists. The building of the guesthouse is residential and only the fourth floor is part of the guesthouse, which has six rooms and the terrace where breakfast is served. Every day it is the same breakfast, with no variety. If you have to leave on a Friday, which is the day off in Egypt, there will be no man to carry your suitcase from the fourth floor, there is no elevator and the poor receptionist was the one who had to help me.
When I arrived at Cairo airport, the driver from the guesthouse was waiting for me. Dima Pyramids View is very close to the entrance of the Giza pyramids, and from the guesthouse, you can see them.

AustraliaWiFi does not work. Was very intimidating having the staff talking money upon our late arrival, and expecting cash. Would’ve been nice to have the total amount required taken up front, not when we were ready for bed. The property is in the old part of Cairo, the smell isn’t pleasant, nobody seems to mention this in their reviews. Take USD with you, this seems to be the currency used in Cairo, tips is a big thing that everyone seems to want, although this is not a thing here in Australia, would have been nice to have the heads up.
Brilliant views of the pyramids, the beds were very comfortable and the staff were amazing. The driver was great and our tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Australia- it took 1 hr to check in.. There was no one on site at check in time, except a child who didn’t speak English. Once the person came, it took a long time for them to validate the Booking. - the room smelt muggy and they sprayed a ton of perfume to mask it. - waited 1 hr for a transfer organised by accommodation which ended up not coming. Use Uber instead. - camel poo outside smelt incredibly foul. Probably not a fault of the accommodation as the entire Giza pyramid area is the same - this place isn’t really a hotel it’s the living unit of a family. The “hotel rooms” are at the top of the block after a few flights of dodgy stairs.
The rooftop view of the Pyramids and breakfast was nice.

Hong KongWe were sent an email offering a tour & guide but no price. We arrived after a good 24 hour travel & we were not allowed to check-in, shower or anything until we had agreed to a tour. They did the same to another guest who got quite angry. The guide was very nice & knowledgeable BUT do not buy Arabic perfume from the place he takes you - we got totally ripped off - up to 60% goes to the guide. We asked to stop & look at carpets , same problem. Prices are way too high because the guide wants his cut. So check prices before you arrive . Expect to be held hostage until you agree to their tour. Same with tickets we paid for expensive tickets...profit went to the hotel we didn't get what we asked for. So hotel ok...be prepared to be harrassed. Other hotels were half the price we paid...
Clean, large room, bed was comfortable. It's very close to the pyramids, staff are very pleasant & go out of their way to help you.

IrelandWe arranged our transfer through the hotel and paid about $15. (Using the Indrive app could cost around $5.) After picking us up,they driver took us to a different hotel called Heaven Hotel instead of Dima witch our booked one, they guy called The guy was so insist that we need to stay there. He also asked us to cancel our booking in exchange for a free transfer, which we refused. I recommend you do the same and seek help from Booking if needed. We had to stay at Heaven because it was 4 AM in the morning and we were tried .While the hotel was clean, the area felt unsafe. The breakfast wasn’t our taste, but it might suit you. Apart from them I was warned for taking water without asking, but there was no water in our room when we arrived. You should buy your water before your arrival. However the highlight was the fantastic pyramid view and a few friendly staff members.

New ZealandWe had an early morning arrival into Cairo and got to our hotel at about 3am. As soon as we got to the hotel, we were questioned by the staff member working about our plans for our trip. He tried to pressure us into booking further tours with them, after we had already pre-booked a tour of the Pyramids for later in the day. We were thoroughly disappointed with the tour organised by the hotel and would NOT recommend at all. Throughout our tour we were taken to certain shops and pressured into buying things we did not want. In the first of these stops, my partner declined a drink, but one was brought out to her anyway. We were then taken to a souvenir shop at the back and despite telling the store owner that we did not want anything multiple times, we felt forced to purchase something without being told a price (a fridge magnet) in order to leave. We were then charged an exorbitant amount 850 egyptian pounds for two small drinks and the magnet. The owner also tried to manipulate us by telling us not to worry, that our tour guide would pay for her own drink, before taking her aside to presumably provide her with a share of what we had just spent. We had a rather uncomfortable ride afterwards until we got to the Giza Plateau. The pyramids themselves could not be faulted but we only really got to see Khufu's one, and didn't get to view the others up close or for very long. We were then taken to the area where the camels are located and offered an 'amazing deal' (read: scam) to ride them. At this point we were over the day and just wanted to get it over with. We again felt pressured to do this activity and did not enjoy the experience. Immediately afterwards, we asked to go back to the hotel. In terms of the room, we found strands of hair in both beds and in the shower. The amenities detailed/shown in the listing and photos were also missing - E.g. no toiletries were provided and there were no couches as shown.
The only good thing about this place was the roof top view of the Pyramids and the young lady that prepared the breakfast.

South AfricaUnfortunately, there was no lift, so it was not the easiest for people who have a problem with lots of stairs. Water leaked out of the shower area and into the bathroom.
Close proximity to the pyramids, view of the pyramids, and the most helpful staff members, especially Khalid. Khalid was ever ready to help at all times and was really respectful and friendly. The bedroom was clean and spacious.
