Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomRenovations taking place for 5 out of 6 days there. Very noisy and dusty. My eldest is asthmatic so this was affecting him greatly. Breakfast did not come with fruit, like the picture suggested. There is a corner shop nearby. Some of the staff charged 6x the price because we are tourists. I advise you walk further down the street to more honest vendors.
The beds were comfortable and staff good with children.

Delivers on its promises! I booked a room with a pyramids view. Below are pictures of the view from my room as well as from the rooftop morning breakfast. Location is great, a short drive from the Giza Necropolis Main Entrance. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the pizza I got from the kitchen was really good!

United KingdomRooms not offering the items in the app. The electric kettle is not working. The chair was broken. The iron box was in the list I booked but I didn't get one. Try to appoint a receptionist who speaks English. I spent an hour understanding them with Google Translate for an early checkout. Also they didn't show the outer view of the hotel in any website
Breakfast was good. Normal one but it's a buffet.

LebanonIt's my favorite spot in Egypt, everything is close to the Inn, the staff are friendly and helpful, I faced a problem where my flight has been cancelled and I couldn't reach on time so I contacted them on Booking and they rebooked for me without paying all over again and they helped me with whatever I needed (they are just great and always smiley), the view of the pyramids during the day and the night will take your breath, the place is like big cozy home you won't feel stranger there, the rooms I occupied were clean and comfortable, there is always hot water to shower, the air conditioning works well as well as the mini fridge (plus they have generators in case facing any electrical issues) .. For the price, I definitely recommend this Inn as it's very affordable. 🌸

NorwayLocation is bad. I dont recommend to stay in Giza area. Breakfast was simpler than it is shown here. Very expensive if you want to drink something on the terrace (3 usd for one nescafe 3 in 1 sachet) . No house keeping, I paid for 16 gb internet but It was 8 gb. I understood that when my internet was not working anymore after I reached 8 gb. So do not try to purchase something via them. They have airport transfer but it is so expensive than UBER. Internet in room is not stable.
Pyramid view.

IndiaThe list is very long :- 1. Totally unprofessional, unqualified and disinterested staff. 2. In the name of Breakfast, the staff were not able to handle to manage simple bread/ eggs breakfast for a family of 4 + 2 who incidentally were the only one residing in the Hotel. 3. No lift. 4. Even after complaining about the poor services to the Hotel staff, the staff were reluctant to improve stating that they can't help. 5. Booked after seeing few good previous reviews which now after seeing the pathetic services to be either paid or managed. 6. less one, all other staff were not at all knowing or able to converse in English.
The only good thing about the Hotel is its proximity to Pyramids and view from from its roof.

NetherlandsEverything and specifically the behaviour of some workers.
In our 5 days stay fhey didn’t clean our room. Our bedsheets were not replaced. They breakfast was every day the same. Once we came at 9 am and nothing was left to eat. The guy in the restaurant told us that you are allowed to have only one drink during the breakfast. They all wanted money and they only talk to you if you give them money. The environment of outside was very dirty. It doesn’t look like a proper 4 star hotel.
