Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaBreakfast was very basic, precooked food, sitting covered with foil. By the time I got there around 8.30am, everything was cold and unappetising. They however offer to make eggs and pancakes, which I declined. And again, the view from the roof top cafe is million dollar. It's a shame it's not an operating licensed bar.
The room was very reasonably priced, so my expectations were lower than what I experienced. The room was large, with fridge, and large bathroom, and AC. Best of all was the good sized balcony and INCREDIBLE view of the three pyramids, right outside my window! Breathtaking. The staff were excellent. Helped me arrange a super private tour guide, and arranged anything I requested, also showing me where I could go to purchase wine. Also they picked me up at the airport, and with an unforeseen delayed meeting, the driver waited and found me and was very helpful. Definitely recommend this accommodation. It ain't The Ritz, but one look out that window, and you almost don't need to leave the room!

SpainThe rooms are very basic but there again, they are cheap. Most have no view and most do not even have a window. Bare electrical cables hanging around also!
Excellent breakfast, wonderful views and mostly friendly and accommodating staff. the Heaven Lounge is brilliant although the prices are a little high - you are paying for the view though. In general, there are few hotels with better views of the Pyramids!

United KingdomLess hassle off the merchants around would help make it more stress free but I guess that’s just Egypt for you
Very close to the pyramids - they’re literally on your doorstep and you have the entrance (Sphinx one right there). Amazing views at night time on their rooftop! Probably even better than visiting the pyramids up close

United KingdomGreat location, the room met my expectations with air conditioning working well. Breakfast could be better though. The only advantage of this hotel is the real proximity with the pyramids with the terrasse offering a direct view on them.

SpainThe price is quite high in comparison to other options near the accommodation, you can find other options with better prices. I guess you pay for the unbeatable location. We booked a Deluxe Queen Room with Two Queen Beds, and we got just a Room with 1 Queen Bed. The room we booked was not the room we got. I guess that was ok because the room they gave us was good enough and very spacious. The very thing we didn’t like was that our window faced just a wall where all air conditioners were hanging, so it was very noisy at night because of the ACs. That almost spoils our whole experience, but we manage to sleep with ear plugs.
The staff was very friendly and tried to help us with everything we needed. The location is awesome. We loved to have breakfast just in front the pyramids and the sphinx in the mornings. I read the service was slow at breakfast but that wasn't our case. We were very happy about how everything was handled.

QatarNo real complaints, just note that there isn't much to the location besides the pyramids, there is more to see in cairo which is less than an hour away, so do what we did - stay here for one or two nights but spend the rest of your nights in cairo.
The view of the pyramids from the rooftop was amazing. Restaurant food for dinner was also great.

United Kingdom1. Leaking shower onto bathroom floor. 2. Inability to change shower height or direction. 3. Unclear directions that a switch needed to be flicked 20mins in advance of taking a shower to have hot water. (We had cold showers every day). The above mentioned switch was far from both the boiler, sign, and shower! 4. Pushy receptionist telling us to go up and get our debit card to pay on arrival. internationally, one pays at the end of the hotel stay.
Location, size of room, cleanliness of room.

United StatesExcellent balcony view of the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx! Our family of 4 (two parents, two teenagers) stayed in a four bed room at the Giza Pyramids View Inn from June 4 to June 8, 2023. The hotel is located directly across from the entrance to the Sound and Light show that occurs periodically during the week. The hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable, and balcony view gave a great day and evening view of the spectacular Pyramids. Breakfast on the upper terrace was satisfying with delicious made to order omelets from the hospitable staff. Management staff were very helpful and their driver Mohamed that picked us up at the airport really helped us after our long and exhausting journey from Hawaii. FYI, most of the hotels and inns in Giza with a clear view of the Pyramids are on the higher cost range. Nonetheless, we had a great stay for our family and a lot of memorable views!

United KingdomSurprisingly very little in the way of places to eat in the area. Breakfast at the hotel was poor. Didn't get the room shown on the website, i think the bigger balconies were next floor up. Didn't have any chairs on ours so they (eventually) have us some but then came back later saying they needed them back and gave us others. Not very comfortable on balcony as it was cramped and had people trying to sell us trinkets from the street below. TV was broken but they quickly swapped it out for another.
More a b&b than hotel but they decorated very well with what they have. Location: Literally in front of the entrance to the Giza complex. Just cross the road, but the ticket and enter, no need for buses, taxis, guides etc. View: view of the pyramids was superb although sphinx was exactly behind a tree from angle of our room, didn't see it until i went to the roof.

United StatesVery lovely housekeeping staff, but there were times where the linen didn’t appear to be clean when the room was serviced. The location isn’t the best for a solo female traveler. Often times a hotel staff member had to walk me outside to where I needed to go so I wouldn’t be approached— I’m so grateful to them.
The views of the pyramids were breathtaking! When going up on the balcony, all you want to do is stare at the view in awe. The staff at the Heaven Lounge were also super friendly. There was a very young man working there and he was so sweet! I wish I knew his name. Mahmoud and Abdulrahman (Abdelrahman? So sorry for the misspelling) were so lovely! Thank you, gentlemen, for going above and beyond for me. I also had a driver along with the tour guide, Reda, I encountered that were so lovely as well— I wish I could remember the driver’s name, he was funny and sweet. I visited Egypt for my 29th birthday and Abdulrahman (again, sorry for the misspelling) and the housekeeping staff made it so incredibly special; being that I was traveling alone. Mahmoud worked very hard to make sure I got the most out of my trip and was so gracious and patient with me. I wish them the very best and hope I see them again! They deserve all of the success.

SlovakiaWhen we came first day at 3am to the hotel, they didn’t have the room for us we have originally booked. We had to sleep 4 of us (with our kids) on a double bed. The hotel gave us then reduction on price for this discomfort.
We loved the stunning view from the rooftop, during a breakfast and dinners we were observing the pyramids.
