Toilet was blocked They gave us a room we didn't book- a triple room instead of a double bed. The man in the double room had decided to stay a night longer and so they couldn't offer it to us, but they didn't tell us this until after we had paid and seen the room The balcony looked out onto the wall of the next building Breakfast wasn't up to much

I stayed there for 2 nights in December. The shower temperature was low and it was cold. I called the reception every night to ask if there were any blankets, but they said there were none. The air conditioner didn't heat up, it just blew cold air. Unfortunately, I had to wear my down jacket for both nights.

The staff at reception were all incredibly friendly and reassuring. We booked a room on the street side and the view from the balcony was great for enjoying the atmosphere of Cairo.

The room was spacious, clean, and nicely built. The balcony has a table and two chairs if you want to sit outside. The delicious morning breakfast is served just outside your room in a dining hall. The staff was very cooperative and welcoming. The hotel is located within the main market and thus provides a lot of opportunity for shopping or just roaming around & enjoying the hustle and hustle. Khan el Khalil market and the Egyptian Museum are nearby

We did not get the room that we booked. Room that we booked was bright with light and the room that they wanted to give us had no day light and windows were painted (yes, painted) with white color! Then they said you booked that type of room, but different pictures, which means that if you book with this hotel based on photos, you have no idea what are you going to get. Also, the room that we got as substitut for first night was laud! And their description always says that the room is sound protected. Basicly... lots of things when you get there might not be true. They say that they have safe in the rooms, but the safe is like a toy... We took our pasports and belongings with us evry day. Also breakfast is continental, but it is evry day the same, omlet of one egg per person, 1 yougurt per person, etc. I will post the photo. Breakfast does not have to be expencive, but in Kairo for small money it can be different for sure. I'll post the breakfast for two. We had the same for 7 days. If you take the room that looks on Talaat Harb street you will not be able to sleep because it is old building and even on 6th floore it is too laud... you hear people, cars, music. It is ok that as small hotel you don't have things. Just but the photos of the rooms as they are and describe the things as they are.

Room were nicely decorated and people who work in hotel were mostly polite! Especialy woman for breakfast.

- check-in took too long - they gave us only 2 towels (we were 3 guys in 3 bedroom room) - you have safe in room, but it has probably 1 kg and it's no attached to anything, you can carry it in your hands. - breakfast is ok, but very limited, no juice or smoothie. Everything is counted - one slice of fruit per person. - bathroom door could not be fully closed - we forgot the jacket in room (after check-out), we came back apx. 15 minutes later and some guy already had our jacked on himself - seriously? If this would not happen, I would rate this hotel better.

We said in advance that we will check in at 2:30 AM but the staff never replied. The front door was closed and could not join the whatsapp number. after banging for a while some man opened the front door and we entered the building. It was dirty and old, walked the 8 stairs as elevators did not work

You might have concerns when walking into the building by appearances, but once you take the elevator up to the hotel, you’ll feel better.

The staff is really nice and helpful. Have them arrange a car, activities, or a guide for you. Good location with walking distance to a few cafes and restaurants, though they can be hard to spot if you can’t read Arabic. Not too far from the airport. The room was clean. And even tho it’s right on a busy street, it’s surprisingly not very loud. The shower pressure and temperature was good.

Frequently there is no electricity. And they don't have backup generator. So no AC and no water at washroom during loadshedding. From front desk they told us to go to nearest Mcdonald to use washroom 🚻. It's really pathetic. Breakfast is below average. Dirty environment.
