Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Brazilwi-fi in the room is very poor
People are very friendly here and they tried to help you the most. Many people in Egypt scan you or want charge more for everything. Those people are very honest and the accommodation is great located. We really enjoy our stay ✨

FranceTERRIBLE TOUR WITH THE HOTEL : very expensive, late guide, car that wasn't adapted to our luggage (two suitcases) Breakfast : it is good but you need to claim for it. It doesn't start at 8, tell in advance what you want. Unfriendly and non helpful receptionist at our check-in and check out. However the rest of the staff was nice to us.

United StatesThe bed mattress and pillows were incredible uncomfortable. The floor was a bit dirty so I’d recommend keeping sandals on.
If you’re coming to Cairo to experience the city that never sleeps, this is the place for you. I don’t think the traffic ever stopped and I’m surprised we were able to sleep amidst the constant blaring of car horns. However, it was nice to be able to step outside and have everything we need - bakeries, shopping, restaurants, an abundance of taxis. The staff were very sweet and accommodating. It was a spacious room with working AC and television. The balcony was nice to view the crazy street.

SwitzerlandWe arrived at the Golden Palace to spend three nights to see all the wonderful things Cairo has to offer. The stay was fine at the beginning, small inconveniences were quickly resolved by the hotel staff. We felt very safe, for which we left 300 euros in the room as we do not want to change everything at once. On the last day, just before check-out, we decided to exchange the rest, and that’s where we realized that the money was not there anymore. We talked to the receptionist and he assured us that because of their religion they could not steal. However, he did not give us any other reason, and that the money basically disappeared by itself. We then talked to the hotel manager and the ridiculous and unblushing answer was that they just couldn't do anything. They would accompany us to the police so that they could translate what happened. But how could we trust these people after what happened? Because of this incident I would never, never recommend this hotel and if you still decide to go, hide your money well or always take it with you. The story that they cannot steal because of their religion, is just wrong.
