United KingdomWe couldn’t fault a single thing from this experience. We initially had booked a different hotel and after arrival finding something completely different to advertised (a complete awful dump) we left instantly to find somewhere else to stay. On finding a Kings view, we were met by Aladdin who couldn’t do more for us to help turn our holiday around. Not only did he let us see the whole hotel before booking, he sat with us and organised trips, after the bad start we were sceptical but so glad we went ahead. On the second day a trip to Luxor to ride a balloon we had pre booked was cancelled but Aladdin didn’t want us to miss this and organised a replacement trip right away. He couldn’t do more for us and was checking in to ensure we were ok and enjoying our experience. The hotel entrance was nice and large with great Egyptian decoration, the hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly too, our room was bright and clean with a comfy bed, and all the essential amenities you could want. It is with no exaggeration that Aladdin and the kings view not only saved our trip but made it into something really special.

Everything was exceptional, and I highly recommend it to everyone who comes to visit Egypt, It is just 10 minutes walk to the pyramids, and the staff was very friendly & helpful every time, the rooftop view is very unique with the pyramids view, also the hotel helped me plan my days by providing an agenda with tours with special rates, which made my stay quite pleasant & educational, overall the service was amazing and definitely I will come back again to this hotel.

United KingdomThe only thing I would warn travellers about before booking is that the hotel only accepts cash in USD as payment. We were warned about this in advance, though, so we arrived prepared. The building opposite blocks some of the view, but it's still very good its a slightly bigger issue if you have deluxe room with a balcony as then it blocks more of the view compared to from the rooftop. The other slightly annoying thing was that the showers only have the non movable shower head at the top and no handle one to move around but generally the bathrooms were excellent. Aside for that, I would say book away as we had a very nice experience staying here for 4 nights.
As soon as I walked in, I knew we chose the right hotel. The manager Hady personally checked us in and was so amazing and helpful. We were welcomed with a drink and had our bags carried by one of the helpful staff members. I unfortunately didn't get his name. Our room was very specious and of high standard the bathroom was absolutely excellent as you can see by the pictures. The room also comes with complimentary slippers, toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gel and body lotion along with coffee, tea and 2 water bottles that were delivered daily by housekeeping. Who I can say do a very good job cleaning and making the beds. For breakfast, you have 3 options. I personally recommend oriental option, which was very tasty. The view for breakfast is also very nice with the Pyramids. On our first day, we also got additional complimentary waffles for desert after breakfast. The manager approached us, asking how everything was. He even gave us his personal cell number in case we needed to know anything while being out of the hotel, along with some really helpful advice on how to avoid scams and not engage too much in conversations from people on the street as they will try and get money out of you. I also have to thank the lady at the reception Salma for her helpful advice on getting around with Uber or Careem and the nearest place to safely exchange money. During our stay, we had a minor issue being the hairdryer in our room didn't work, but all I had to do was dial 400 on the phone, and they sent a replacement within minutes.

United Kingdomthe breakfast was very average, we were staying in Luxor and the breakfast there was so much better and self service with more choice. This was a served breakfast that was dry. There was a man in reception from the shop next door who offered to take us on a tour and we later found out the following day when we booked someone else that he had ripped us off so beware of him!
We just stayed one night to visit the pyramid at Giza so the location was perfect as you could see it from the roof terrace. The hotel is a little tired but very icon of being in Egypt with a great mural in the reception. The room we upgraded to a suite at it was very nice and spacious with a fridge.

IndiaSomeone from the hotel just opened the door of the room when we had just came out after a bath. Exposing us naked. All the staff had to say was that they are sorry. Sorry is meaning less our dignity is lost. We couldn’t do anything. This has never happened to me. Also they overcharged us from the booking.com price.
Egypt is beautiful and so is Cairo. This property is located in a nice area right behind Mena house. Staff is courteous and the space is clean. View of pyramids is semi visible from the property
