United KingdomOmar the taxi driver from the hotel was waiting to transport me. He was on time and as a female solo traveller, I felt safe. I loved the trip to the beach on the tuk-tuk, and the. each bar there. Food was varied and very nice. Thank you for a lovely time

SwedenSome of the staff weren't very friendly. I was annoyed with activity sellers (massage, diving, etc) but I suppose they are obligated to do it. I wish the staff at the kitesurfing store were more honest about the wind forecast. It would've been better to recommend me to push the private class I booked one day later to enjoy the time and money to practice the sport. As soon as we payed for diving, there was a sudden change of dive sites... Not nice. Again unreliable. Doing business is just a hassle...

IsraelHalf of the staff are not very friendly (the other half is). They seam burned out and tired of dealing with tourists. The level of English is very low, which can lead to pointless misunderstandings. Tours in reception are overpriced, better find, and buy the same tour online. When I arrived at 2 in the morning, the receptionist told me that the hotel was overbooked and that I would have to spend the first night in a neighbouring hotel. He didn't apologise for the inconvenience at all but just said that it was very normal as if I were an idiot not understanding that. In general, the employees in the reception don't seem to have patience or much sympathy. In spite of this I would recommend the hotel since there are also very friendly employees.
It's a 20 min walk to the beach or you can take a free shuttle from the hotel. The hotel is in the middle of the desert so there's no where to walk outside the hotel unless you buy a tour. But if you're looking for relaxing and no shopping then this is the place. The hotel has a bit of wear and tear but nothing alarming. The pool area and beach are nice and clean. The food included in the all-inclusive-package is acceptable considering the price. I would say it's value for money but don't expect anything exceptional.

GermanyThis hotel is consistently falling behind and requires an update in all aspects. Covered parking would have been nice, too. I hope they soon start implementing the Ministry's directives on making Red Sea Resorts green, this hotel will benefit from these regulations; having the water run for up to 10 minutes before it gets warm is not acceptable for any place in the desert.
I was given the same room as one year ago, and things slightly improved, but this old and tired resort has a long way to go to match competitors such as the Wadi Lahmy Resort much further south. Food is a hit and miss, but the Oriental Evening the hotel had organised was splendid - any efforts they make goes quiet a stretch. It seems the cost is due to Makadi being regarded as a posh location but most guests would probably come because of the convenience.

United KingdomThere really wasn't much to complain about at all except a loo brush in the bathroom would have been handy, if we were to nit pick.
The buffet style breakfasts were fantastic with a choice of just about anything you can think of and lots of vegetarian options too. We ate lunch down at the beach most days from the little snack van and the pizzas were above and beyond what you'd expect. Dinner however was a little less consistent, especially for veggies like myself. The buffet on the Oriental night was absolutely fantastic and we would all have been happy to eat that every day, but we appreciate that it may not have been everyone's choice. The rooms were lovely and freshly decorated with comfortable beds, clean towels daily and plenty of storage. The grounds were full of beautiful bushes and plants which were being attended to constantly, in fact the whole place was very well cared for. Lemon and Soul is by far and away the best all inclusive hotel we've stayed in for the reason that it didn't have the sometimes sterile impersonal feel to it that others can do. It felt more like a guest house which is more the type of accommodation we would go for out of choice.

HungaryThe majority of the rooms are having door between them without any soundproofing at all. This means that you can easily hear what they are talking in the next room. However when we asked for a different room they were happy to give us a new one right away, but again with a door between two rooms, even though we specialty asked to have a room without it
The staff was super helpful, whenever we needed something we got the requested help at that moment. They are fluent in English and German. The beach is 6 minutes bus ride away which is really close to many amazing coral reefs. All together we were not expecting this high quality service for this price and we were happily surprised

EgyptNo entertainment in our hotel, have to go to sister hotel, can only get soft drinks there, while watching the show, why??? That's not fair 😬 Had dinner in the a la carte in sister hotel, good and service was fab, but cleanliness of things let it down.( it's a 5 star ) WiFi, is shocking One bar man serving drinks at lunch and dinner, there was always a queue. Again, a wasted bar, for people to pay for drinks, never used, when the main pool bar was always busy, maybe open that up so it can be for both, and also serve the upper pool area, rather than having to go all the way to that bar Things in mini bar not included on all inclusive, have to pay for them 😬 Just things for improvement, it hasn't put me off, as have booked again for new year.
