Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomVery nice hotel, located a few km from the pyramids. Very nice and clean rooms. I would definitely go back. They also organize wonderful and comfortable private tours with Egyptologists. Highly recommended.

United Arab EmiratesWhile our stay was mostly great, there was an issue with the bathroom. There was a leak that made the floor wet all the time, which was uncomfortable. The location, although close to the Pyramids, made it a bit tricky to get Uber rides—though not impossible, it was definitely a bit of a hassle at times.
The view from the rooftop was absolutely breathtaking—watching the sunrise and seeing the Pyramids up-close every morning made our stay truly special. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and it was amazing to enjoy it with such a close-up view of the Pyramids. The location was ideal for exploring the Sphinx and Pyramids, and while it was a bit far from the city center, it was still manageable. Plus, the staff was really responsive when we requested a hair dryer, which was much appreciated!

ItalySTAY AWAY! SCAM! LOOK AT THE GOOGLE REVIEWS!! They force customers to give a "10 excellent review" on booking.com to catch other people, as it happens to us. They even tried to give us 5 dollars discount to make the review but of course we refused. The place IS NOT as the pictures show! Rooms are very terrible, dust and dirt everywhere, noise from the corridor, the heating didn't work, the rotten smell it's unbearable. We booked a tour to see the Giza pyramids, absolutely not needed because the driver is not as guide! It's just a driver but you can visit the pyramids on your own! When we asked to change our plans during the tour because we wanted to go in the city centre they refused, and the held us in hostage in the car, until we would have made the review. Awful experience, I hope they get sanctioned.

United KingdomOur driver couldn't locate the hotel, perhaps some clear signage would help.
The location can't be faulted for the view of the Pyramids. The breakfast was lovely. Our tour guide Amna (arranged by the hotel) was excellent - knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are basic but comfortable and for the price, it offers good value. The hotel is a little dated and could use a refresh, but it was fine for a couple of nights and no real issues. The staff were friendly and there was always someone available to help when we needed it.

Canada- The food is bad and very bland. It was tasteless and too expensive for the quality. I would recommend eating elsewhere. The staff in the restaurant doesn't speak English, so it was impossible to communicate allergies. We ended up not having dinner at all because of this. We had to leave very early in the morning so we couldn't eat the included breakfast. Instead, the night before we asked if we could have some fruits packed to go (a banana and an apple). The assured us that they would do prepare the fruits and we could just grab them before leaving. Upon checking out, they did not have the takeaway ready. - The Internet is bad. It does not work 80% of the time. - The shower is bad. It's very tight and small. There is barely any space to move around. There is no space to put shampoos. - It looked clean initially, but when I took my socks off, they were very dirty from walking in the room.
There was hot water in the shower. There was heated air conditioner which helped, because it was quite cold outside. They helped find a taxi to the airport because Uber was not showing up.

MoroccoThe breakfast was a tiny limp bread, an egg, 2 falafel balls, 3 spoons of foul, a few spoons of jam, a small slice of cucumber and a tiny piece of tomato. The tea and coffee worms are served in cups both in the restaurant and in the rooms. In this respect, the hotel does not deserve the 4 stars.
The proximity to the The Giza pyramid complex. The panoramic view from the roof. The room .

The view is amazing. Totally amazing. The place and location it's really bad, the hotel is dirty. The room is not as bad, is old and outdated. Cold water. TV doesn't work . All that can be overlooked. The kitchen/dinning area. Super dirty messy. We were not able to eat anything from there. Besides all that. The stuff is supper pushy to take their tours..lots of pressure there. And the checkout pressures you to write a review before checkout.

QatarI received numerous offers to my WhatsApp once the reservation had been made. I booked an airport pick up with them. So, they knew we were coming late because of the flight. Once arrived (almost midnight) we paid for the taxi and the room and then we were told to cancel the booking.com reservation as there are no rooms available. They suggested a taxi to some other hotel «which is better and more comfortable». They can not explain the reason why I should cancel the booking. So I declined to cancel and they said that in this case no one can help me. I asked for the invoice/receipt and they refused to provide any paper as «the accountant is not in the office». It was almost 1 am, I said I will cancel if they will show the room. So , they took us to the location by taxi ( 30 min away by foot) , shown the room and waited until I placed the request to cancel the booking.com reservation.
everyone was very polite ) thought by 1am it would be better them to be rude but give the keys from the room which was booked initially. Breakfast though was ok.

ItalyDisappointing Experience with the Excursion Package We stayed at this hotel, and while the accommodation was decent, our experience with the excursion package offered by the hotel was terrible. They arranged a tour to the Pyramids with a camel ride, assuring us it was a fair price. However, once we arrived, we realized we were being massively overcharged—$110, while the actual price for locals and for arab tourists is only $2-7. We felt scammed and poorly advised by the hotel, which clearly works with unreliable tour operators. If you stay here, I strongly recommend organizing your excursions independently and avoiding the hotel’s packages. Once you go with the driver, there are hidden costs behind it.

United KingdomLocation is deep inside from main road so taxi can't get in. Needs to carry language on dirt. Staff were too excited to sell their tour packages with higher prices before providing room keys. So as you check in before giving you room keys they will take you to their positive point which is roof top view location and aggressively offer you their tour and won't give you time to decide. Not even water. Morning breakfast we need to buy water. Bathroom has electric geazer which is difficult to get hot water... once you open shower water temperature falls. I suggest just take Uber to pyramid entrance and buy own tickets and enter. Don't buy any packages from anyone.
Only top roof view is good.

United Arab EmiratesThe bathroom was in a terrible shape. no toiletries, toilet seat was uhh! Everytime you take a shower the water makes it way out and makes the whole bathroom watery. I had booked a family room on booking.com but they gave me triple room, and when I told them about that they changed my room at the end of the day. There is no concept of cleaning the room on daily basis. After my reminder and request to clean it was not done only once in my 3 night stay.
Hotel was average with just basic facilities. The host Hussain was a very nice guy.

United KingdomThe accommodation is suitable for those traveling on a budget. Don’t expect high standard and dont be misled by the 10 grades reviews - the standard of this accommodation is maximum at 7 grade, definitely not 10. The bathroom in our room was horrible - it smelled badly, the shower was not clean, there was a huge gap between the shower doors which resulted in the entire bathroom being nearly flooded each time we took shower (we reported this to the staff and during our 4 night stay this problem was not fixed although they kept saying they will deal with it). The water from the shower was flowing in all directions- we couldn’t take a shower without getting our hair wet. The internet only works in the reception, it does not work in any other areas of the hotel, including the room. No toiletries provided. Breakfast the same every day, not very good, only instant coffee available. Some chairs on the terrace were broken, table cloths were dirty with big wholes from cigarette burns. Although the staff was nice, the guy who checked us in was very insistent (to the point of being irritating) that we book and pay for tours. We took 2 tours with the hotel, the guide was not very informative, seemed to be bored and not interested in showing us around, both tours were rushed as if the guide wanted to cut the tours short and finish early. If I did not specifically ask about certain places that we thought were included in the tour, we would have missed them because the guide would not take us there (even when I asked about these places the guide tried to persuade me that these places are not worth visiting so that the tour would finish earlier)
The location of the accommodation is very close to the entrance to the Pyramids. It also had a very nice view of the pyramids from the terrace. The room was good size and comfortable. Staff was polite and helpful (but see my other comments below)

PolandAfter check in, receptionist taked us to the rooftop and wants to sell the trip. I saw comments on the Google that people feel the they have to immedietely make a decision to choose the trip. In my opinion it is better to just put the offer of the trips in the reception with prices. This is just more convienient and credible.
View from the rooftop is amazing. Breakfast is delicious.

United KingdomBeds weren’t comfortable, the bedsheets were torn. Hot water wasn’t consistent. Rooms were cold. Lobby outside our room smelt like smoke constantly. Evidently They also tried also “upgraded us by accident” and gave us a slightly bigger room. And then tried to kick us out to another room while we were already there with no prior notice.
Location is convenient to the pyramids but that’s about it.
