Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe area is so close to the gates that it can be loud at night, but that is not the hotel Staffs fault.
Beautiful and convenient location. Hotel staff went above and beyond. Food is available without leaving the comfort of the rooftop, which is maybe 200 yards from the pyramids. Room had a personal balcony that could hold 2-3 guests comfortably

JapanBest front pyramids & sphinx view location, around a quiet corner and away from the noisy ticket gate, this charming hotel is managed by three young smart Brothers who are very understanding and ready to solve your queries and requests. Booked the camel ride and Saqarra-Memphis day trips with them just to avoid the hassle on the street and to be sure they will be very safe and professional even if they were more expensive it was totally worth it. The rooftop breakfast terrace is one of the best in the area and the wild but cute cat makes for nice pictures. An unforgettable experience really happy to have chosen this hotel and will definitely stay again when coming next time. It makes a huge difference to be in this quiet area and also the absolute closest to the landmarks. The rooms have a balcony with lateral views on the landmarks, the more expensive rooms are situated on a higher floor and include bathroom but even the shared bathroom was very clean and perfect and it is shared only with one more room, not many people. They are continuously improving the hotel so it will only be better and better.

United KingdomThe hotel room I was in was basic and I didn't realise the bathroom even though it was private was across the hallway. If they highlighted that in the booking I would have upgraded the room unfortunately couldn't upgrade when I got there. Also the entrance leading up to the hotel is not great it looks like bomb sore but that most of Giza to be fair.
This was a great stay, my first time in Egypt and I was on my own and the guys at the hotel looked after me like family all the way from arrival to departure. Hossam and his brother were great hosts and organised everything. The tour they organised with Mohamed an expert on Egypt was excellent and could not fault it. Ahmed a member of staff was a driver tour guide, I could not have seen as many places as I did and experienced the real cario with our him. The hotel view was amazing being able to see the sphinx and the pyramid literally from lying in bed. The hotel was basic but I would stay there again without question because of the staff and view.

We had a very kind welcome and willing help. Unfortunately, we could only stay for a short time, but we would come back anytime! From our balcony and terrace you have a beautiful view of the pyramids and the Sphinx. In the evening we were given coffee/tea as a precaution. Thank you for everything! 😊

GermanyThe outside was full of street dogs and smelled like urin. We also had to discuss a bit with some people to let us the street because they thought we wanted to go to the pyramids and wouldn’t understand English. But honestly, don’t let that discourage you, it’s the best place!!
Everything is amazing! The location just couldn’t be closer to the pyramids. You even get to see and hear the light show for free. You get to have breakfast next to the sphinx!! The outside of the building made us doubt for a bit, but as soon as we got in their property everything was well taken care of, nice and clean; including the stairs (which often is a forgotten area in many hotels in Egypt), everything was how it was supposed to be. They were nice enough to keep our baggage from early morning while we did a tour, before the check in. The room had a small fridge, which was perfect for keeping my medicines, or any food rest. They help us order some food, and they offer food themself, the beverages are AMAZING.

United KingdomFor the price we paid - nothing. This is Egypt and standards are going to be lower than western hotels but if you go with it and appreciate where you are you will be pleasantly surprised.
The staff and the location - both were excellent. I’m probably going to get the names wrong but Houssain, Ibrahim and Achmed were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. I contacted them to see if they would arrange some trips for us and we had 3 wonderful days with driver and our fantastic guide Memo (Mohamed) The trips were reasonably priced and Memo, being a registered Egyptologist, went above an beyond to make our days as full-filling as possible. The hotel is reasonably basic but clean, food was good and breakfast simple, but adequate.

MalaysiaThe water pressure could be better but thats an issue for cairo and egypt as a whole due to its population and scarcity of the resource. Even in Hilton Luxor the water presssure wasnt the best.
The location is good for what youre chasing after (proximity to Pyramids) and takes about 30mins to 1 hr to get to Areas around Cairo City itself . The owner is really friendly. Location is the alley right next to the entrace of the pyramids. Place was quite clean and good value for money . Best part is the honesty of the pictures regarding the hotel. Most hotels in this area do a bait and switch so it was really nice that this owner is honest and provided everything as promised in the pictures and booking.

SpainThis is not your typical hotel as the name Inn already siggests. Breakfast is basic. It is not easy to find on first day. Keep in mind reception is on top floor when entering the building. Room was basic in need of some renovation, but it was clean with working AC and comfortable beds. Dogs barking in the night, neighbourhood is a bit "rough". I travelled with two kids and they prefered not to go out from hotel. Entrance to pyramid complex is for egyptians only so you will still have to take a taxi to other entrance. All food is ordered from outside and prices are a bit higher than average, but to be fair food was good and better than I expected and plenty of choices for kids. And nothing can beat having dinner (with a cold beer if you want) overlooking the pyramids as you see all of them including the Sphyinx from front row. While you need to take some things with a pinch of salt if you are used to EU/US standards, the view and price make it a solid choice when travelling to Giza.
The view feom the terace and hospitality of staff. You will come to Giza for the pyramids and when going to see them up close you will be annoyed by all the "guides" and suvenir salesman and rushed through the tour, but staying in this place will allow you to take in the scenery and enjoy dinner with an amazing view and ability to see and partially hear the light show. We organised a tour on the Nile through hotel and it was cca. 10 USD pp cheaper than Viator/Get Your Guide. I know some reviews state the staff is rude when you reject their tours etc. But if you understand that things like exchanging money and organising tours and dinners is how these places make money and you dont mind spending 1 eur more to get these things right in hotel, then all should be fine and on top it will make your trip easier.
