Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Very welcoming and helpful two brothers ! The guest house has the perfect location on the front line to see the pyramids, you can have breakfast admiring them. The house is away from the street. Breakfast is very tasty lots of homemade things and big portions. Room is comfy even if bed and pillow are a bit hard like often in Egypt but for short stay it s totally fine. You can walk to nice restaurants. Mohamed and his brother helped us find a safe driver for a day tour with very fair price. We highly recommend this guest house !

ChileThis place exceeded my expectations! The other reviews are absolutely right. Ehab and Mohamed were very attentive to everything I needed. The location has a spectacular view of the pyramids and is right next to the entrance to the Sphinx, where, contrary to the information you find online, you can also buy tickets to enter the pyramid. I arranged a camel ride, a tour of Saqqara and Memphis, and a nighttime cruise on the Nile with them. In a thoughtful gesture, Mohamed accompanied me so I wouldn't have to dine alone. The breakfast was delicious and generous, with plenty of water available. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. They even offered to take me to a restaurant or an ATM if I needed it. I continue to stay in contact with them to plan tours in Luxor. Excellent service—100% recommended!

MalaysiaI don't even know where to start - it was absolutely fabulous. Mr Ehab (the owner) is a wonderful, kind and an amazing individual. I flew in from Amman and requested for a day single room ( I paid for 1 night) because I was flying out to Luxor that night. I had my ride from the airport seamlessly, was shown into my room and after I freshened up, was taken to the upstairs lounge with the beautiful view of the pyramids, and some sumptuous breakfasts. Mr Ehab and his family who owns this property has been very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful with tips to visit Cairo and surroundings. I booked both airport transfers, 1 full day of visiting Pyramids, Al Azhar and Khan El Khalili souk. The room was very cozy and the bathroom was clean and tidy. This would definitely be a place I would return to, or recommend to others who are travelling by group or alone. Thank you Mr Ehab for taking care of me for the duration of my stay!

CanadaThe owners are exceptional in their willingness to help a traveller navigate the best path forward to see all you want to see. They provided a professional driver and car for all my wanderings and exploring for a reasonable rate. I felt safe at all times and above all genuinely cared for. No deceptions or surprises. If you are a first timer I recommend you stay here. All exploration can be arranged from here. The included breakfast is sumptuous and enough to keep you going all day. Many eateries are nearby for evening strolls. The big surprise is being able to view the three pyramids and the Sphinx from the patios. EXCELLENT!

GreeceVery helpful everyone. They helped us with everything we needed and there was kindness in everything. Clean rooms. Rich breakfast and nice food. It is also the closest to the pyramids and has the most beautiful view. There is also space on the second floor, there is quiet space there for someone to sit comfortably. There was even more personal help with what we needed from a taxi to and from the airport. Help with our tourist adventure at the pyramids. In general, they know the area very well and can make your trip more comfortable and safer. They are people of trust, they can arrange for you a full day trip inside the pyramids area with a relatively good price and with camels. It was generally a pleasant trip and the service definitely helped and played a part in that!

CanadaIncredible hospitality by Ehab and his family. The location with supreme view over the Pyramids, two beatiful outdoor terraces, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, safe and peaceful house. The best part about this place are the owners - honest, helpful, kind and attentive to their guests. Ehab is the BEST guest house owner - his communication was always prompt and reliable, he is incredibly kind and patient. Also, Ehab and his brother Mohammed are a wealth of information and knowledge about Egypt, the culture and people - we had so many interesting conversations about a wide variety of topics, it was a pleasure to feel like a part of the family! The guest house owners are also very knowledgeable about their country, and would be a great resource for travellers wanting to expand their travel plans and options. This was our very first time visiting Egypt, and Ehab and his family made our visit a very special and memorable. We definitely could recommend this wonderful guest house and their hospitality!

United StatesThe toilet seat in my private bath was not stable and needed to be secured or replaced. I would have liked to have a shower curtain and for the shower head mechanism to be able to be positioned differently in order to prevent the shower water from running onto the bathroom floor.
The location of the property and the hospitality and genuine care for each and every guest by the property owners was incredible and far exceeded anything I could have expected. The up close view of the Sphinx, The Great Pyramid, and the Giza plateau from the rooftop patios was other worldly and one of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen or experienced. The property was peaceful and quiet, which allowed time to appreciate and connect with the incredible view of the Giza plateau.

United KingdomThe breakfast is a bit too oily. The triple room is a bit small for three people with three suitcases.
The owner is very nice and helpful. They answered all my questions. They helped to arrange airport pick up, it is a bit more expensive then Uber but if your first time in Egypt and you have big luggages then would be a great idea. Because the Uber driver may not know the exact location of the guest house and just drop you off at the main road. They provided unlimited bottle of water to us.they also helped to store our luggages in the hotel during our trip to black and white desert. We felt very safe in that area even though sometimes the main road is a bit messy and with lots of cars and people.

AustraliaThe owner is so lovely, the nicest person we have met in Egypt. He was very genuine and wanted us to feel at home. The property has an amazing view of the pyramids from the terrace and is only a 1 minute walk from the entrance. The location is perfect - so close to everything but tucked down a quiet alleyway so the rooms are very quiet. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again

This lovely guest house is located very close to the Giza pyramids and the pyramid views from the common areas are exceptional. Ehab is a very attentive, helpful and kind host who helped me to do many things on my Cairo 'bucket list'. I will be recommending this Guest House to all family and friends. BTW the air cond was fantastic...a welcome respite in the recent heat wave, the room was a generous size and the whole place very clean and safe.
