The hair dryer and the kettle in my room did not work. The rooms are quite noisy, you can hear the noise of traffic from the nearby busy road. Some spots in the common areas were not clean (rubbish on the floor).

Perfect location in Aswan, staff very kind and helpful, excellent breakfast and the restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes for a reasonable price. The terrace on the Nile is a great plus. The rooms are basic and need an update, but in general they are confortable.

My room was not that clean when I received it and when taking a shower a lot of water comes out because of the setting.

Woman at reception not very helpful, maybe due to poor English. We wanted to check in early, she said she would check and to take a seat. 30mins later I asked what happening + was told 3 hrs to wait. Why not just tell us? One room had flooded bathroom after 4th visit to reception it was fixed. No info given. She forgot to book my trip to Abu Simbel till I reminded her. We wee served a bottle of rosy wine ( same type we have drank throughout, which tasted watered down to all 5 of us. Waiter changed it without question, but made us doubt the wine. Rooms very noisy from traffic and people but location was worth that.

Great location right by Nile. Fantastic view Fri terrace restaurant especially at sunset towards island and the feluccas.

Our room had a grate in the bathroom filled with kerosene that smelled awful. It took a while to discover what it was, thinking it was vehicle exhaust fumes. Putting a wet towel over it remedied the situation, but would have been nice to have it explained.

Due to Aswan being more expensive than Hurghada, Luxor, or Cairo, and we were only staying from 7 pm to 4 am, we opted for economy rooms that are right below the road. The noise was particularly significant in the bathroom. We were recommended to go to the market which is across the road to pick up couple of things from Pharmacy and supermarket, but we were chased and harassed, and massively overpriced even when haggling, (not the hotel issue but they should warn us if they recommend us to go at 11 pm). Just a couple of small things.

The hotel is right between the Nile and the main busy road through Aswan. The hotel is below the road and fairly quiet. The pool looked good but we had no time to use it. The restaurant next to the river was great and staff professional. Food was OK. The receptionist (forgot their name) was the best. The mattresses were decent too. Large chilled water bottles available in the hotel for purchase for good price, alcohol was available too at decent prices. They organised a little anniversary cake for us, which was a very nice surprise and made our day.

This isn’t the property’s fault, but the air pollution at this location is excessive. There are many Nile Cruise river boats parked closeby, and their engines are on all through the night to keep the power on. So the exhaust levels are very high. I could smell it in my room even though I had hardly opened the door.

I liked the pool, the property itself is beautiful, staff was exceptionally friendly. The breakfast buffet was amazing. They had a hairdryer in the bathroom which was amazing because I hadn’t packed mine! It has a lovely waterfront location on the Nile.

As above some issues in the room. Bread provided at breakfast some days seemed to be from previous day.

The location on the Nile opposite Mövenpick‘s Panorama Tower is fabulous, the room (we had a fairly quiet standard pool view room) was quite small (estimate 16sqm) and even if recently renovated urgently needs improvements in the bathroom. Shower not flowing off (drain at high end of basin), moldy shower insulation and moisture-related wall damage in bedroom. All not dramatic but a bit appalling and hence lower rating. Food was ok but not great. Walking distance to fabulous Aswan Market. Friendly and helpful staff, great views from pool and restaurant, easy to access sightseeing destinations around town.

Fabulous location right on the Nile River - sitting on the balcony of the restaurant was very relaxing just watching the boats sail by on the river. We had an initial problem with getting the wrong room (twin beds instead of double bed) however this was sorted out pretty quickly and we were happy with our room in the end. The breakfast was nice and offered a good selection.

Where to start : usually when you pay $380 for 2 nights, you expect the minimum. But the bathroom had problems, the door cant close, the sink is not sealed properly, a piece from the shower fell. Stuff are not srewed properly, I will put pictures

Upon entering our room our fridge was hot and the air con was dripping water and the shower was hot/ cold and had no in between. All things reported and nothing done about this. Also we had arranged transport to the hospital throughout our stay and the driver over charged us 50USD for 2 trips to the hospital and back to the hotel.

The guest relation manager was fantastic. She let us check in early to our rooms and organised a sunset boat tour for 5 USD which included nibbles and a hot tea. She also had a professional manner and available on what’s app for any concerns. Breakfast and the restaurants were fantastic. And the pool was great with a gorgeous view. The shuttle arranged through the hotel was very convenient for us due to being 40 minutes away from the airport.
