There is nothing really that I didn't love. Maybe some room for improvement with the bed mattress was too hard and I ended with unbearable back pain, wifi in the room sometimes is not good; more sustainability policies in place that allow me to say I don't need daily housekeeping; use large toiletries dispensers instead of small individual containers for shower gel and shampoo; and less plastic on the overall (bar glasses, icecream cups and spoon, etc), identify where activities will take place; don't allow people to save their beach chairs with towels.

Sands was my first time on an all-inclusive resort! If you need to rest, not take care of anything and just enjoy the sun, this is the place! I have travelled solo and wasn't sure how I would feel as a lady solo traveller around this destination! Port Ghalib is a great choice as it is a tiny little city around a marina, mainly with tourism units. It is great if you looking for quiet holiday! (nothing like Sharm Al Sheik, thankfully!) All staff was amazing! My room attendant was very welcoming and helpful! The pool bar staff were amazing, every morning welcoming and making me feel at home! Thanks to Ali at the snorkelling pier, to Mohamed that helped me with my luggage and had a friendly smile always on, Barbara for making my Birthday special by arranging dinner and a lovely surprise cake with the staff singing me Happy Birthday! It was a fantastic stay!! I loved it and I will definitely come back! The buffet food was diverse and tasty! You won't get bored even if you stay 2 weeks! Besides, there are different restaurants you can choose from too! The facilities were always tidy! There are activities at different times (pool games, yoga, etc). The reef is unbelievably beautiful with lots of colourful fishes and if you are lucky, sometimes early morning you can see dolphins around! The hotel does a fabulous work protecting their reef so pay attention to the rules on the beach! I asked for a quiet room far from the swimming pool and I was given a great spacious room ground floor facing the beach! It was the most beautiful experience to wake up every morning, open the room sliding door, walk 500m and watch the sunrise! Something I was fearful of in an all-inclusive was that people would be loud and drunk, but no, all guests were polite, reserved and quiet! As a plus, my stay was during the school holidays time so there were not many kids around. I totally loved it, totally see the point of all-inclusive resorts now and will for sure come back to Port Ghalib!

No direct access to the sea. You have ca. 5 meters of very shallow water than reef with no access and then you can snorkel. Strange preparation of fresh juice at a 5* hotel: you fill 50-60% of the jar with an industrial produces kind-a-yellow-water-juice-base and next 40-50% is freshly pressed. And if necessary a bowl with a sugar is by hand... If your neighbours are smoking, a smell of smoke can appear in your bathroom. No idea how it is possible, unfortunatelly in our last 2 days we had this experience in the bathroom. Not pleasant.

Actually everything was perfect ☺️😍 Starting with the price , reception welcoming, nice room , wonderful views, variety meals times and types ( Indian food - healthy food ) by the end I can't forget the kindness of the staff ( Salah in reception - dosoky in tagina restaurant - Mohamed in lobby bar - and allot of them was so nice ) Other nice facilities : - Three ATMs ( CIB - Credit Agricole - QNB ) - The resort in Port Ghalib city so you can reach the marina Port Ghalib by walking small distance. - you will find NBE ATM MACHINE in the city - supermarket with normal price for any things (( pampers )) 😂👍 - three resort in one so you will see many nice views.

even though the staff tried to be incredibly helpful, always tried to accommodate me in anyway, the hotel workers were a bit annoying during the day, they’d come up to me in the pool and in the beach every 5 min trying to get me to go to the spa ( extra charge) or in some sort of excursion, I was with my headphones and sunglasses reading a book and they still come to you , very pushy . but the reception always helped me with anything I needed. the biggest down point for me however was the wi fi situation. there’s Wi-Fi in all the hotel but basically doesn’t work , just for texting, most of the things don’t open, in a country where most people are tourists and don’t have their own internet

huge property, basically it’s a huge little town of resorts all along the sea and with access to the marina . you have a lot of entertainment inside . you’ll have time to explore , very good value for the price, you’re literally on the beach and with all inclusive you can eat and drink basically all day

Everything was ok

It is a great hotel, especially because of the super nice staff. They are very hepful, kind and always smiling. The coral reef is just in front of the hotel and you can admire the incredible marine life. There was a great variaty of different food at every meal. Special thanks to the staff which cleaned our rooms and made the stunning towel creations!
